I played an online game for hours earlier, no lag, but RO1(renewal) does.

 

It's like someone's following me and lagging my client (sending in a ticket if I must).

 

Even the Warp Portal forums lag. Can you venture as to an explanation?

 

Maybe a hardware upgrade is in order for your servers?

 

Reason I'm asking is how do other players feel about their experience?

Haven't been lagging at all lately, except in OD. OD just hates me.

I'm getting major lag spikes, lag-lock, random lag-disconnects and instant disconnects. I'll be walking, then disconnect while still in motion.

 

It's making the TLPD event quest hard, since the dialogue freezes some times.

 

Some of the lag and disconnects are on my end, since I'm on a wireless/bridged connection, but it's the worst I've seen it.

i've been having some of the worst lag i've experienced since maintenance this morning

I'm not lagging, but a significant number of people seem to be. 

 

Anyone lagging able to capture a tracert with any indication of what the issue might be?

Since about the rollbacks, I've been experiencing lag; it goes:

1. I click on a spore

2. Two seconds pass

3. I'm suddenly next to the spore

4. Three or four seconds pass

5. The spore is dead (checking the logs, I had hit it two times, my aspd is 174 )

Also, when I attempted to party in low TI;

1. I get warped to turtle dun

2. No mobs on screen

3. Three seconds pass

4. I'm suddenly at half health and being mobbed

5. I activated the teleport spell

6. One or two seconds pass

7. Teleport dialogue comes up and I teleport randomly

8. No mobs on screen

9. Four or six seconds pass

10. I'm dead

I tested my connection with Ookl's speedtest, and had a ping of 112 ms and ~300 KBps down and ~90 KBps up.

How do I tracert?

Yeah, im also curious, why this game so lag.

i've played Dot*2 smoothly, browsing internet smoothly, but i dont know, when i play RO its become so lag.

i think thats not my connection problem..hmmm

You can always try out the Leatrix Latency Fix if you lag. For me, it helped abit. But you can feel the difference. Its much smoother now.

Whatever you do, don't do that.

 

Also, it's not a complaint thread, it's a serious issue.

 

I am gathering whatever information seems pertinent and will forward it to the appropriate party.

Again, there is absolutely nothing wrong on our side.

 

I tested googling multiple websites, among Warp Portal forums earlier and Diablo 3 forums.

 

Warp Portal kept loading.. and loading, and this on multiple platforms.

 

The D3 website, was bing bang shabang.

My game is lagging like crazy too now. I log in, play for 10 minutes and then it starts. It's so bad I almost can't move.

Today the game has literally been unplayable.. every time i log on i lag like crazy that i cant even move properly.. changing maps would DC me, and trying to kill a monster is just impossible!

This is my hypothesis:

If they exterminate all bots and prevent them from trespassing the games premises' = lag-less game, period.

If you are in South East Asia, the lag was caused by the undersea cable breaks. To make it worse, the repair will only be finished by 6th October due to typhoon in Hong Kong
