Hey everyone,

 

i've hit lvl 50/50 today and geared up my char.

Including full lvl 50 gear and FF title.

Food buff and also trying the dayr food buff too.

 

But as a Magicbased class this Test is a effing nightmare. I've been trying for an hour now and i keep on dying.

the best i managed is to take 3 of them out until i get stunned and silenced to death.

My main attack is fire based firebolt and its slower than attacks of physical Classes which means, I land like two hits and then i die.

Hit and run is no solution either such as taking out some of the enemies first.

 

It's not only my wizard (int/agi based) but also for sorcs and Priests its a pain in the ass!

I went on the forum to find some solutions which arent new to me. I was shocked when i read some ppl took like 4 days to get this -_- done.

 

Seriously, the Classes which have fast physical attacks can do the test no prob, i did it with my Beastmaster in less than 15 minutes with failures.

 

Like 9 months ago it was so easy but what's the reason of making it this hard on Magic based classes?

- May I know your overall HP total? I see most people who have 4k-ish HP always fails miserably. My SM's HP when I first started the quest was 5k. I started upgrading and honing and adding runes and cards to my SM and built up my HP to 12k. I have no problem after that. Seriously, HP is the key (for me).

- Try getting a Cure from a kind SM

- Wind elixirs can be a big help in doing hit and run

- Those purple spinel thingies which heals a lot of HP

- Conceal scrolls.. but I never learned how to use it to my advantage at all lol

magic base ... let just said, AoE till end ?

 

I haven't play wizard so i don't know how to do. But with my sorc, i use nirvana + thunder + LoV , i was lucky that i kill 3 mobs at same time along with rosa and knight :3

wind elixir will help you a lot

if you still can't pass it while using wind elixir do some raids and get better gear

also don't forget to eq cards and join a guild for guild buffs

If you're killed while using Firebolt, just run in circles and spam Lightning Bolt instead. Even lvl1 should do the trick. As a Wizard, you also have the advantage of a teleport. If you already die before you can get to a safe distance, use your Conceal scroll. That might also guarantuee your first kill or in case of the Priest, a free DoT on the majority of them (via Magnus Exorcism).

Hit and Run is diff when you're stuned or silenced and its very annoying. you cant get far with that methode cause of the spamm they do. teleport has a cool down of 20 seconds.

 

i've never experianced this to be so difficult.

my HP is 8.8k , 10 with the blessing buff.

I have top gear and am using all of the above named methodes but i just cant get a foot in.

 

Lost all my spinels due to the deaths.

 

Srsly, if i read about other ppl taking 5 hrs or 4 days to complete this quest, it must be something wrong with balancing when physical attack classes can do it within 20 minutes

^ I think he meant Rosary the enemy who stuns :3 Have you tried doing hit and run, just spamming instant-cast spells like Greven suggested? It's effective. I did it with my SM, running in circles, spamming wind elixirs and my level 1 Mental Breakdown, randomly tabbing after a kill. I got stunned at least twice, and I turned into a poring, but Cure and the purple spinel pot saved me.
