Well, this is my first time using forum for something so sorry if i point something wrong, i'm not used to this. I stopped by several times and now I'm back, obviously startled by the news about the levels and a lot of other things. In this topic I'll talk about some things I'd like to see in RO2. Please don't come with stones in your hands, I'm pretty much a newbie compared to the news here.

1. Leveling System.
Seriously, Ragnarok 2 is divided into two parts: before and after the level 50. Seems to be completely different games. What happened to the raids? since master level was implemented, I haven't seen any more fun raid actually be added. It's just an endless mindless grinding. It would be interesting new raids for master level with daily quests, where every day you could do these raids and earn XP/MLP for it. And speaking of daily quests, adding a few of them would be cool too, like, pick things off the ground, talking to NPCs in other cities... anything to get out of that grinding. Making it clear here that I have no problems with that absurd amount of XP after ML 20, as long there is a way to get this without having to grind for months.

2. Polinium
I would talk about the whole system of refining, but I've found that the only real problem is this item. Please, do some other use for Polinium! Like... I dunno... we can combine them to make Lucky/Blessing Powders, Infinium, or at least Pure Polinium.

3. Storage
After Polinium, I only could be talking about space issues. We all know that spaces are limited, but I think no one will do anything about it because money runs behind the Storage Expansion. So what I'll ask is just what is being asked for years: please, make a 20 slots storage binded to our account, which we could share items with our other characters. Or just to stock our Poliniun... ⌒_⌒;

4. Old Places and Dungeons (Fixes)
Why there is still no Kafra Transport in the Dayr Desert? Does the Kafra hasn't collected enough Kafra Cash to expand its services in Dayr? Does what we spend on the Kafra Shop is still not enough to buy their brooms? Please, it's annoying to have to walk over there every time. The adventurers are tired of grind for months and not have even one decent transport. Just like the daily quests I mentioned earlier, please add some new Kharas, like those of killing the bosses who were in certain parts of the map. I still remember how it took me a while to find a party to kill Vador the first time. Also, I don't know why the Easy difficulty was removed from the dungeons. It would be nice to have some solo dungeons... Could even do they without drops, only with mobs for us at least be able to finish them when our friends are offline.

5. New Places and Dungeons (Future)
Note: All i wrote here is based on RO1 maps. Remembering that all here may already be in the plans of the devs, I'm just trying to point directions that can be followed. I'll also hide the box because in the end it all can be a dream unrealized... ||| ̄  ̄'

6. Chat
Chat. Why so much spam and no GM on-line to take care of it? Well, my suggestion is to make chat channels like this:
/1 = Guild: Only related to guilds (WoE like) and recruitment.
/2 = Trade: The same spammingland trade channel.
/3 = Party: The same party search channel.
/4 = General: The same public chat, moved to /4 and named "General" instead of Public. People see "Public" and spam in that. Maybe MMORPG related? don't play too much games to say. The idea to move this to /4 is that /1 is already their spamming channel, maybe devs can cast "confuse" on they and then spammers will do it in Guild chat instead of the public one. fu fu fu fu...>∀<*

7. Other Stuff
There isn't a way for the devs import game strings into .txt for we make our own language patches? It's the international server now, it would be cool to have the ui and system messages in our native language. I also like that the system supports other characters besides Latin, so I could talk with my friends using katakana. Finally, AH needs a better interface, like search items by level/class, sort by price/vendor/A-Z, etc ... I will not go further on here because with all that time people already should have said something about it all.

That's it. I'm sorry if I was rude in some part of my observations, it wasn't my intention, I'm just giving some suggestions that I consider important to improve our game and make it fun for everyone.

The worst part of this is that the game keeps giving you random untradeable and non-selleble/indestructible stuff that might or might not be useful in the future but that is definitely worthless in the present.

And god forbid you if you have a noel and like cuteness...

 

About 5.

I wouldn't hold my breath with Comodo. Look at the map. They've cut off everything to the west or Morroc almost all the way to Geffen (and created that longish lake thingie so you can't "skip" maps).

As for Geffen, I'm really surprised they've randomly done this Dayr desert stuff. We DO have orcs, gobling and kobolds... in the desert. They simply moved them out of their habitat because. And Glast Heim, oh Glast Heim! It has always been a cluster of dungeons with quite some variety for a "ghost citadel" that could have easily absorbed all the functions of Dayr Desert temples and Dark Whisper.

About Mjolnir, I'm disappointed they have (almost) forgotten all of Mjolnir with its rivers, and floating rocks (near Geffen) and absolutely giantic plants and petit (which is a mount!).

Byalan does exist, kinda. I don't know no kraken, but what I remember from Byalan is two floors above water full of hydra, cornutus and vadon (which is what Izlude Cave is about) folowed by another above water floor with obeaune and a couple mermen. And then finally an underwater floor full of phen, swordfish, marine sphere and marc and a final one in a temple full of mermen and strouf (which is what Temple of the Sea God is). Actually, Izlude dungeons are one of the very few parts of the game that respects RO1's lore.

I couldn't believe in my eyes when I saw that now Polinium can be destroyed. Well, half way already! Maybe i change the topic's name to "Fixes and Dreams" now? Thank you devs!

I don't bother with RO2 world map because it can be redone, and they have already remade almost the entire game (remember how different it was in beta?). Actually there is a river at west of Morroc, and crossing this river, we'll be on Fortress Saint Darmain. But the lake in the middle of map can't be helped. The Dayr Desert is an area where once stood part of sograt desert and the ruins, neh? Well, this place is very close to where are the Geffen's Goblins. No wonder that they decided to transform the surroundings of Geffen in a great desert. I think it lacked a little planning there, because as you said, there are goblins and orcs in Dayr Desert. They could have done the dungeons in Dayr as they did, and keep doing the maps until Geffen. We would still have Dayr and also we would have the Kobolds, Orcs and Goblins in their habitat.

In Izlude, If that dungeon is Byalan, they've forgot a part of it. Byalan have 6 floors. On the 5th floor there's a lot of Mermans, Swordfish, Strouf and Deviace and in the last floor we can see King Dramo, Sedora, Surofo and Kraken. I quoted Izlude because when I started playing, one of the first things I thought was to get a Sedora as pet... but it's too late to think of Izlude and anyway it's cute the way it is now. ᵔ‿ᵔ

A little while ago I was exploring the map of Payon and noticed that there are several trails leading nowhere, all extremely easy to find and not shown on the map. I noticed this in Verta Delta too. Could there be something to come or is it just some map leftovers?

In Izlude, If that dungeon is Byalan, they've forgot a part of it. Byalan have 6 floors. On the 5th floor there's a lot of Mermans, Swordfish, Strouf and Deviace and in the last floor we can see King Dramo, Sedora, Surofo and Kraken. I completely forgot that renewal added one more floor to Byalan.

But even without it, Byalan dungeons are the biggest tribute to RO1 in this game. Which is kinda sad.

 

About the trails... I don't think I've noticed them, not in Payon at least. Although i noticed some paths in Verta Delta indeed. One in the west extry, tot he north and leading to a wall, and another one to the south west in what looks like a portal that ends in another wall. My bet is that maps were connected differently and those connections were later removed without remodeling the landscape.

On that landscape note, it's funny how the Izlude map is (or was?) so different from the actual place. Damn those walls.
