Hello everyone,

 

I am making an auto cast build and have some questions about attack speed.

How big of a difference is there really from say 188 to 193 attack speed? Thats only 5 less and I would think the difference would be fairly negligible.

I am not necessarily here to Min/Max, but if the difference is huge I would reconsider trying to further boot my attack speed.

 

Anyone tested this small difference and could you notice a big impact?

Attack Speed is 200 - ATK Speed = (50 / Total) = Hits Per Second.

200 - 188 = (50 / 12) = 4.1 ~ 4.2 Hits Per Second

200 - 193 = (50 / 7) = 7.1 Hits Per Second

 

188 ASPD = 4 Hits Per Second

193 ASPD = 7 Hits Per Second

Uh, yeah. Going from 12 frame swing delay to 7 is kind of a big deal. As you get close to the max ASPD, each extra aspd makes a huge difference.

Wow, no kidding, 4 to 7 attacks per second? thats insanely huge ...

I can reach 193 aspd on my gx.. but I think my attack animation isn't as fast as another player who have 193 aspd that i've seen on vids.

I have the same issue with my ranger too.. Hope someone can shed some light on this.

Most likely lag/delay issues. Or maybe there's another proper term for it.
 
I went back to the Philippines for two weeks about a month ago. Had about 150+ ping, attacking with 193 ASPD seemed like attacking with 193 ASPD. Came back to Australia after that, currently getting 200+ ping. Attacking with 193 ASPD seems like attacking with >190 ASPD.
