Well, my Kagerou is 100/8 now, and I realized my Kagerou is incredibly suck.

I definitely decided to upgrade Kunai Explosion first, because I watched the video about solo Magma dungeon with Kunai Explosion, and it is really cool, high damage and vast area.
But, it turn out to be pretty bad, yeah the damage is so high but the range is so stupid, so I read some topics in Forums, and know the truth that Gravity nerfed this skill down. Oh god.
and I already wasted 5 points to this stupid skill. and I can't do my lvling at all(Its so slow). so I will reset my skill point.

 

I want some suggestion, what build suit me? I don't like pvp or mvp. I only need to kill a lot of monster. I need some PVE build for Kagerou with great Aoe skills.

Or there is any trick for Kunai Explosion? that can hit a lot of monster .

You could try using swirling petals, it has lower damage compared to kunai explosion but the aoe is big enough to kill large mobs decently especially when you hit lv110( u could use petal huuma). Well for me i will put skill points in my KE when im high enough because it scales with ur level. Putting pure soul, 16th night, earth charm and swirling petal first is what i do and works pretty well in mobbing. KE is like a backup skill of swirling petal for me

so you dont want to PVP or MVP? there really isnt any else to do endgame... you made the classic mistake everybody seems to make when it comes to Kunai Explosion... you got it too soon... the damage increases based on Base and job levels... Catastrophe is right.... pure soul 5, 16th night 3, earth charm, Swirling petals 5 (unless going dual dagger), and illusion shadow should all come before getting Kunai Explosion... until then youll just be stuck using basic ninja skills to level... Kagerou have soooooo many build options but everybody wants to always go with throwing or magic... there are melee builds and  hybrids of all kinds... if you need help in game lemme know... my character info is all in my signature

Thanks, you guys help me a lot. I'm using Kunai Splash, but it consumes my kunai more that i thought. so i will take you guys suggestion.

If you could trash some real damage like 25k+ per Splash, then I won't call it a waste.

Worst thing about Kunai Splash is since you'll be going on full weight (at least a bit under 90%), you CAN'T use teleport items like Mysterious Seed or Malang SP Can. Really ticks me off.

hmm..just wondering, is kunai splash still considered as melee skill?

yes its still a melee skill and it bypasses CSS...

its meant to be melee it seems... bypasses pneuma and isnt effected by AS cards....

My combo will be like this, Swrilng Petal lv5,Earth Charm 9 spirits(when casting), pure soul lv5, 16th night lv3, kunai explosion lv5,Illusion shadow lv 5?

what do you think?

Kunai Splash looks good for MVPing seem to be highest dps throwing skill on neutral
