So after having my eyes opened from DD crit and having read this thread http://forums.warppo...3-aspd-with-gx/ DS(dual sword) 193 should be very possible! Red twin edge obvious main hand(better when its enchantable) off hand maybe Byeollungum off hand with the 50% dmg to boss it already has and two nice sharp enchants?What do you guys think?Actually having looked around more having a high crit rate should be easy aswell..90 luk is 27 crit or so you can get a sapha with 16+crit(not sure max >.>) 36% crit from perfect enchanted byeollungum 30 from abrasive this is already 109 crit...and you can get more from crit food etc

Yea further you get from easy mode katar which doubles crit and has best aspd mod more zeny you have to throw  . Depends though for the blue twin offhand is debateable depending on what you need   byeo just seems like a pretty good crit holder atm.

Gear combination for base agi "zero" for 193 aspd:

.          - +12 small poring band (+1 aspd, 8% aspd)

.          - pegasus ear wing (4% aspd)

.          - +9 fallen angel wing (24% aspd)

.          - +12 temporal agi boots (22% aspd)

.          - bakonawa agimat tattoo (10% aspd)

.          - bakonawa agimat tattoo (10% aspd)

.          - celermine juice (10% aspd)

.          - doppelganger card (mvp) (10% aspd) ~or~ malangdo enchanted katar (+1 aspd)

 

should have max aspd with this 100% attack delay=193 aspd you would have like 94% attack delay and 2~3 flat aspd with this not sure what exact aspd would be can possibly change some stuff out and yea 3 slots are nice but depends on what you need again >.<

so you can put RT on one accessory slot? and if you can't afford mvp.

+12 SPB also can be switched with +9 merc riser for more crits maybe, and both twin edge filled with cecils

there's a few ways to make this build works, but pretty limited to crits and aspd... and i think until twin edges are enchantable, it's just a for fun build

this is build is possible, as long as main hand is a 1-h sword or 1-h axe, as both don't cause double attack to be checked during attack phase, so it gets around having double attack as a skill.

 

off hand can be dagger, 1-h sword, or 1-h axe.

 

positives:

~better size penalties than dagger, especially if you are not using drake card

~higher base weapon attack

 

negatives:

~gear is more aspd intensive leaving alot of attack/crit gear on the table

~need to rely on consumables more to make up for lower crit/attack

~more stat intensive, may require more agi or more luk than other builds depending on gears used

 

aspd combinations(gives you an idea of what you need):

120 base agi

level 50 job (+7 agi)

awake pot

 

A ) main hand:1-h sword

off hand: dagger

base aspd: 121

1. 95% aspd

2. +1 aspd, 92% aspd

3. +2 aspd, 89% aspd

4. +3 aspd, 86% aspd

5. +4 aspd, 83% aspd

6. +5 aspd, 80% aspd

 

 

B ) main hand:1-h sword

off hand: 1-h sword

base aspd: 115

1. 95% aspd

2. +1 aspd, 93% aspd

3. +2 aspd, 90% aspd

4. +3 aspd, 88% aspd

5. +4 aspd, 85% aspd

6. +5 aspd, 82% aspd

 

C ) main hand:dagger

off hand: dagger

base aspd: 144

1. 86% aspd

2. +1 aspd, 79% aspd

3. +2 aspd, 72% aspd

4. +3 aspd, 64% aspd

5. +4 aspd, 57% aspd

6. +5 aspd, 50% aspd

 

 

as you can see, because your baseline aspd is so low, flat aspd doesnt help as much as equip aspd.

In set up A ) +5 flat aspd only saves you 15% equip aspd

in set up B ) +5 flat aspd only saves you 13% equip aspd

thats like saying a bako tat = a +13 isa

meanwhile in a regular DD setup

in set up C ) +5 flat aspd saves you 36% equip aspd!!!

thats like saying a +13 isa = 2 bako tats lol

 

i have been toying with this idea for awhile, i want to work in a +12 eddga hat into my build and not lose out on the +300 attack, plus i don't want to rely on mvps/gods as well as hardcore consumables (kafra shop or high priced zeny ones)

 

im a cheap and poor GX lol

You are gonna lose a lot of eATK or Crit damage bonus that you would get with DD/Katar build

to get just 60 extra weapon ATK comparing to Scalpel.

And you might not be able to reach 193 ASPD if you wear +12 White Dropping Eddga Hat.

 

It might be fun to make, but I don't think it's will be strong build.

Been twerking around like stupid and yeah, it's possible to use Eddga and still have 193 aspd.

BUT! I need an input on crit gears for GX (sorry, this is my first GX and it went WB/CS route so i could get a grasp of dual wielding... /desp )

sorry for reviving this old thread, but it's very possible to do 193 while using +12 eddga and just minimal AGI. There are many cheap options for ASPD like cenere card, loki assassin mask, agi scrolls/guaranas, then just work your way to bakos/aspd wings after some time.

 

my current GX setup:

 

Base 90 AGI, with awakes and celermine=193 ASPD with katar, 192.1-4 with dual dagger

 

ASPD related gears that I used:

 

pegasus ear wing=4%

tempSTR/LUK LD/AD=10%

+9HBP=+1ASPD & 8%

2x bakotats=20%

ASPD wings=+1ASPD

costume quve mask=10%

+9physical earring=3%

+9rapid pendant=4%

 

good thing with this is your top head is free from +9/11/13 IRE, which you can use for maximizing damage output.

no quite dual sword but close enough(easier to find variety of twro vid compared KRO =.=)

Few things

To reach that aspd, it requires stuff we dont have, consumables and (i believe twro has shadow gears) the Blitz Shadow Set,+ cenere card etc.

The damage is lower than regular DD crit

Even more costly supply than dd crit because now you have big troubles with aspd

Panda Balloon +1 ASPD
 

He is bound to his Ice pick on every mvp because of the ASPD2, not versatile in his case( can be solved by 1 soheon on +14, yes, still, +14)

Swords still have size penalty to big size, and small size. He also lost possible 4 cards slots to increase his damage output.


The most important:

I WANT A +14 SLOTED EDDGA T.T
