this is build is possible, as long as main hand is a 1-h sword or 1-h axe, as both don't cause double attack to be checked during attack phase, so it gets around having double attack as a skill.
off hand can be dagger, 1-h sword, or 1-h axe.
positives:
~better size penalties than dagger, especially if you are not using drake card
~higher base weapon attack
negatives:
~gear is more aspd intensive leaving alot of attack/crit gear on the table
~need to rely on consumables more to make up for lower crit/attack
~more stat intensive, may require more agi or more luk than other builds depending on gears used

as you can see, because your baseline aspd is so low, flat aspd doesnt help as much as equip aspd.
In set up A ) +5 flat aspd only saves you 15% equip aspd
in set up B ) +5 flat aspd only saves you 13% equip aspd
thats like saying a bako tat = a +13 isa
meanwhile in a regular DD setup
in set up C ) +5 flat aspd saves you 36% equip aspd!!!
thats like saying a +13 isa = 2 bako tats lol
i have been toying with this idea for awhile, i want to work in a +12 eddga hat into my build and not lose out on the +300 attack, plus i don't want to rely on mvps/gods as well as hardcore consumables (kafra shop or high priced zeny ones)
im a cheap and poor GX lol
