Hello everyone,

I am mostly a support priest that takes certain battle abilities as well, but I have all the necessary support including 90 int and all healing items.

My problem is that in the mid level TI i tend to run out of mana after a bit of fairly constant fighting even using Magnificant.

Is there a better way to avoid this I am not seeing?

Currently I have increase sp recovery 5 and meditation 10. I was hoping mediation would cure all my mana issues but it has not.

My healing seems very significant with high numbers due to using empowered mace and ygg crown +9.

I was looking for opinions on two abilitieis.... would i notice a significant sp regen increase if i rasied my sp recovery from 5 to 10?

Also I have been eyeing the ability Spiritual Thrift, it seems as if on paper 20% off all mana cost would add up to a HUGE amount.

The only thing I would be sacrificing for either of these is angelous but the defense increase from this buff seems meh in all honesty and I would rather have better sp regen.

What are your thoughts... would sp regen 10 help a lot, would thrift help a lot?

If you're talking about seekers, they're actually an exception and they're literally an AB's worst enemy... they steal SP like crazy.

I would try out some more "regular" TIs as this really isn't your average TI when it comes to SP.

You should consider bringing some SP pots too, especially when you're solo supporting a party.

From what the wiki states, seems like Increase SP Recovery only gives you the bonus when standing still. Not really helpful with TI parties, so no need to max it. The SP recovery bonus from pots is pretty cool though.

Spiritual Thrift isn't exactly worth it due to the fact that you have to waste 10 points on Demon Bane and Mace Mastery to get it. While it's more catered for battle types, even I didn't even bother getting it for my battle AB.

Why dont you try to equip more max SP equip like those Variant Boots(? i dont know if i got the name right) that give +20% HP/SP or just slotted boots with a Sohee card. Even if its Low TI, i never run out of SP while solohealing. Even with spamming sanc and singletarget healing. But then again, i dunno what Mid TI is like...i guess im no help haha....but what i do know is: Get yourself as much SP regen as you can and if you want to heal, go full support and forget those battle skills.

You can still support fine as a battle type with 90 INT. Unless you're solo supporting a full party and they look like the type of people who are too cheap to use pots when needed.

Seekers use a skill called NPC_MENTALBREAKER that steals a good amount of sp from the user they are attacking. You can nullify the effect by standing in pneuma range or keeping Kyrie Eleison on yourself. The same can be used to negate their stone curse effect. Simply put, avoid tanking them ahead without any sort of protection if you want your mana pool to be safe. Your INT amount is fine too, don't think you need to change anything just be more wary of the monster's skills.

I use SP equips for that. gears include : turkey on head, Morpheus accessory, Vesper Core 1

Use the orleans if you need the phen effect

More maxsp means more sp from using ancilla, both from using the consumable, or using epiclesis.

variant +(morpheus / vespercore1) + turkey should add a lot of max SP.

event shadow set also adds 10 int.
SP increase potions(Large) are cheap as well.

If you have an Arc Angeling card though(and 77 base Luk), it will solve most, if not all of your sp issues.

How can you equip the Empowered Mace on mid TI?

realize that per every level of Increase SP Recovery you have, SP healing item efficiency increases by 10%. I do however discourage you from getting level 10 Increase SP Recovery, it is by far in my opinion the most stupidest skill to have on the priest tree to begin with, why we have to pick it up in order to learn other skills is by far something left to the imagination, just leaving it lvl 5 for all reprequisites is enough. Spiritual Thrift you can do largely without but it is a very amazing skill if you do not mind having buffs that are quick to die off and are devoted to constant rebuffing. I agree with most people in this topic, the current TI is a Bishops worst nightmare in terms of monsters stealing SP, but provided you stay within the middle of the party there shouldn't really be that big an issue. An issue with most AB players are that they neglect to bring SP recovery items with them, which are a staple, i suggest either Iris's or for the poor man, strawberries!
