right now i am 103 and still have a level 71 non evolved vir...someday i will get sera lol. but anyways i die pretty easy in nogg rd lvl2 if i get 5 on me i die like buter and i have a fire orleans armor and a fire resist valk shield and fire resist potions but still die fast. Will getting Sera and the painkiller make PvM 100% more easier?

Definitely, Sera its going to make your pvm life easier, you prob would get 1 dmg per hit. It's worth the time and effort to lvl your homun, go do it!

Here are some visual examples of pain killer in action at nogg road floor 2.
Notes:

• Gene is lvl 100 with 33 vit
• Sera is level 150.
• Reduction gears were +9 immune HBP and +7 valk shield carded with Hodremlin card.
• No armor because I was lazy.

How effective is Pain Killer when it comes to solo MVPing?

Pain killer makes fights go by a lot smoother and cost efficient but it does not make you invincible. Can safely say the skill efficiency decreases as the MvP gains more magic attacks keeping in mind that pain killer reduces both physical and magical. This is because MATK of MvPs in renewal is stupidly high.

 

The skill will always reduce a max of 1000 damage flat at level 150 Sera. Moreover, being overwhelmed with MvP mob will not affect this reduction at all. So you can simply get 1s damage from MvP mob and around 200~500 regular damage from MvP with full reduction, maybe even less!
