Do you want your thread to get locked? Because that's how you get threads locked.

by bumping a necro thread.

- dagger's most suitable to be used when you're playing trap, since you'll want the other hand to have shield to have more defense.

With the new-thanos-leech gear, it might be useful.

- no, you'll get no exp from the damage inflicted by burn from fire trap( it will not consider as your damage ), so you would get less exp from killing the whole monster.

seems like an AS build with reduction gears+bow can do better.

I hope they change the autumn headband so trappers can shine again. surely i will try it on my ranger.

ehmm

i suggest not to use thana dagger, the extra damage and fewer slot is not worth it. with thana dagger + +9 RWH + hunter fly card you have 4 + 4 + 3 = 11% chance to leech 8 + 8 + 15 = 31% damage as HP.

when using quad HF main gauche + +9 RWH you have 4(x3) + 4 = 16% chance to leech 4(x15) + 8 = 68% damage as HP. you can neglect the difference of atk between main gauche and thana dagger since it only do MINOR damage to fire trap. Your main damage is from your dex and int.

you need to get sustainable leech to get immortality. using thana HF + +9RWH you need 11% chance (about 9 monster) to make your every fire trap leech HP. and using quad HF Mg + +9 RWH you need 16% chance (about 6 monsters) to make leech per fire trap, which is more convenient, and offers more hp leech.

lets say you do 6k damage fire trap damage to scarabas, using HF thana + +9RWH will give you 2k damage to leech one in 9 monsters. if you use quad HF MG + +9 RWH, it will give 4k damage to leech one in 6 monsters, which is more useful.

TL:DR: quad hunter fly main gauche and +9 RWH > hunter fly thana dagger and +9 RWH.
