Its been on my mind for awhile now and I been wondering how come no one talks of putting this on steam?? I mean like we could have all types of new and exciting players. IM would be alot easier for others to obtain if it was available with steam cash aswell. Heck they might even add more content to drive the new community. So how come this isn't on steam yet D:

this has been suggested. though we're left in the dark as to which of our suggestions is actually ever being worked on.

would suggest wp looking at some of valve's services.

For SteamWorks integration you need some changes to the source code of the game. If Gravity would decide to use SteamWorks, it first has to be implemented into the game, second there will be the problem, that Steam is then needed for everyone, because things will then handled by the SteamWorks API. I do know many people which dislike Steam. And if SteamWorks would be used for micro transactions (such as the ingame shop) there would be needed a lot of adaption to the client code.

Having different clients (with and without steamworks support) would be more effort to maintain.

The question is, how worthwhile this is...

On the other hand Gravity could do a good step with such decision because more people would see the game and would then decide to try it out and stay.

At the end it is the decision of Gravity, whether they would try that out.

Just some thoughts from me...
