80s-90s, please!

Anyways, a coworker told me the Chip & Dale game is worth hundreds since we still have the manual and box. No idea what happened to the manual and box for Mario/Duck Hunt, Metroid, and To The Earth. (Still have the original NES plus 2 controllers and the Zapper, but too lazy to post them up.)

My first computer was an Sinclair ZX-81. No games at all. Every calculator has more power these days... ;)

Then I had a Commodore 64 over years. There are many games like Grid Runner, Zaxxon, Impossible Mission, Summer and Winter Games and whatever.

After that my "career" continued with a Commodore Amiga 500, then Amiga 1000, with all this cool games like Loderunner.

And since 1993 I own PC Systems - first game I had for PC was "Day of the Tentacle" ;)

This remembers me of this old LucasArts adventures: Maniac Mansion, Zak McCracken, Loom, Secret of Monkey Island...

Yes, I'm really that old.  :heh:

i was introduced to games back in pre-k... i was terrible at it (atari had no tolerance for failure)... i was always a bigger fan of the sega master system over nes.... i still remember the game miracle warriors... it was one of the first games where you could choose to kill people or not during encounters (merchants and what not) and if you killed enough good people evil merchants would sell items to you and the good guys would attack...

2001 was the year. I was at a random local computer store and this game was in a mixed lucky dip style basket of games.

I still have the original box and manual in fairly decent condition. It know in my heart its worthless but its priceless to me!
I played it for about 4 years and it is still to this day my favorite game ever, and i still jump on every now and then.

Oh well, there will never be a game like this ever again and i am grateful that i stumbled across it and got to play it in it's prime.

Metal Gear Solid for PSone, anyone??? :ok:

Climbing up-and-down that ladder just to see Meryl in her undies was the highlight of my childhood. (Yes, I'm not ashamed of saying that)

Also, I have an original Donkey Kong 3 arcade machine.

Anyone mess with Everdrive hardware (or something comparable)? I'd like to get a few for some of my consoles, but they're kind of pricy and I haven't seen much feedback on how they holdup over time.

Can't arbitrarily change your definition of "old school" this late in the game!

anybody here want some SNES emulator site?

if I'm allowed to post such stuff

anyway, as seen on my sig

I'm a hardcore RA2 / Yuri's Revenge fan

that I broke the game..

no hacks

just found bugs and stuff

some tips to the game

waypoints..

use health navigation key

use elite navigation key

quick team selection

waste no second because if you are able to save thirty seconds by chain planning the sequence of commands to to then

you already have an army 30 seconds ahead of the enemy

.........

@ZeroTigress

whoaaaaaaa....

Kirbeeeeeeeeeeh...........

love that game

finished that one on a Java Emulator..

I spent more of my time playing the mini games than actually playing the main game. XD

I spend some time on Ragnarok

Kongregate.com games

Emulator games for NES, SNES, and DOS games

tried out

Touhou games for a short time (old games of this runs on Win98 so you'll need an emulator)

and some RTS like:

Battle Realms... created an AI with notepad and the stats are all 99 (which is max)

RA2 and Yuri's Revenge...  broke the AI

StarCraft.... played but yeah I'm already too full with the other two.. I like Zerg though..
