I stopped playing around 2011 and havent noticed that fixed cast time (which really sucks) for Sacrifice skill and my Royal Guard (Lv 134) that I am planning to revive and let my homie play it tag w/my Shadow Chaser for our comeback WOE, so my question is, can you get instant or semi instant cast Sac w/that DEX Temporal Boots (stacking spell chanted gears) on a base 120 DEX build RG? Cos I aint spendin resets til I am sure it is achievable in current Renewal.

If you have both the boots and sacrament, it should be faster

it will apply in the order of flat reductions followed by percent reductions.

 

We don't seem to have any data on how long the fixed cast time for Sacrifice is, on the wiki. It is probably 0.6 seconds (20% of total cast time) or 1 seconds fixed time. So if it is 0.6 you'd see it go 0.6 - 0.5 = 0.1 * 0.5 = 0.05 so that's like nearly instant cast. if its longer like 1 second, you'd see 0.25 seconds of fixed cast, which is still quite fast and hard to interrupt.

Ok sounds less than 1.5 sec is good, but I think I'd go for the woe set builds because i just realized ill be having low HP & demi reductions, I guess I'm not goin for the dex temp boots anymore, secra and sticking on strings looks enough. thanks for answering my questions jaye.

You should put on 100% variable reduction gears to test how much fixed time remains

I have a 120 dex RG. It's faster but not instant (tested with sacrament too). The base fixed cast is really long.

It has 1.5 seconds fixed cast, so with Sacrament + Dex Boots, it would be 0.5 seconds.


Also, if you're using Temporal Dex Boots, you can use a Faceworm Snake Skin to recover 15% hp. So you'd get 25% hp from a firelock/green ferus in slotted dex boots and the snake skin. On top of that, you can get vit enchants in the snake skin for even more hp.

You would however be missing out on FAW so no -30% variable

Jaye do you know how much variable cast time does Sacrifice have?
