Happy birthday to my favorite clone of Captain Picard raised as a slave in the Romulan mines: Tom Hardy! Also, he was in some Christopher Nolan movies. (Allright I realize that he was born on SEPTEMBER 15th, but I like to think Shinzon would agree with my decision.)

 

On to the notes: 

 

-2 weeks of increased EXP and Drops for VIP players

 

-Halloween quest improved and expanded

 

-October Spooky Box

 

-Talk like a pirate day fishing leaves, but players will still be able to use the treasure maps and collect rewards

 

-A NPC will be added to Hugel interior map (in_hu01) that will take prospective hunters to the Payon hunter guild. 

 

-I'll be putting up a leveling improvement thread in the Classic Foundry this week that will be looking at Ice Dungeon style event improvement and changes to maps/monster spawns to improve the quality of life for Classic leveling.

See ppl are just starting out with the quests!

@battle, just find the spot shown in your map. There is a bubble on itand u just run into it. Some wraiths spawn, kill em and talk to the mimic that shows up.

I mean how we use the map I opened it up but the text chat not appear. Is there a npc to go to before?

i've only seen 28/36 of the tattered maps myself during this event so I haven't been able to verify/update all the coords on the page.  On renewal, some maps are missing, like 1 south of morroc and 1 south of hugel, so it may be missing on Classic too.

Yes, at least those two are missing. I listed them in last weeks patch notes thread and it got ignored/argued past.

I looked at the listed locations. They are there just pirates who bury treasure aren't the most accurate of people. But the locations were all within 20 cells of where it is on the map.

are they in an accessible spot?  i know that rachel field is also an inaccurate spot per the map provided; it's actually in the water.

The ones I was told to check were. I was able to walk to them.

I just ran around south of Morroc for a couple of minutes and was still unable to find it, I remember doing the same in Hugel and also outside Ice Titans without having any luck finding any of them. Can you double check on Classic for us or someone let me know if they find them, because it's really not that fun.

renewal got a costume witch pumpkin hat.  dunno if it has any stats.  your box is cooler than ours anyway

When is grandma boxter coming back? Just got like 1000 party scrolls from the boxes

Also does the popcorn hat do anything? or is it just a popcorn hat that does nothing?
