Since honor/valor gear is character locked and cannot be unlocked (unbound) as rest of gear maybe it should be possible to Unlock it for same account at least?

 

While im not big fan of lock/bound system in general i think current honor/valor system is way too harsh.

 

Main "reason" was people not to reuse/resell gear nonstop and force everyone to get their own gear.

 

If you are hardcore/active player you have mostly multiple chars you work on and it makes this extremely hard.

 

Also take in account that Crystal defender mostly never starts due to lack of players so even getting honor gear is very hard regardless how good you are or how often you would want to do it.

 

I would imagine it could work like this that you could use same unbind (or different kind one) from item mall or honor shop to unlock honor/valor gear and it would be moved to storage and get status "bind on acquire".

 

So if any other character on same account takes it it gets locked.

 

Since it costs points or item mall every time and would be locked inside same account still it would avoid general trade but would give limited chance to move gear around own account at least.

Especially for valor gear this is crucial, some classes are unwanted\undesired inside Dungeons (all non aoe or non tank classes mainly). Farming valor on a raider? good luck finding a group that chooses you over a mage or champ or launcher bourg...

actually raiders are quite popular in HOO and possibly cou too, just not in sea of dawn because for SoD it's more preferable to make your own group before entering. and no one will pick a raider for that dungeon where obv aoe chars have better chance of successful completion. so they could always farm valor through hoo.

one of the issues tho is that valor to honor is 5:1 which is super slow if ur going to get honor that way.

I think this is a fair suggestion to keep items within a single account. but it's only useful for those who have mains chars all on one account.
