hi once i log in, this appear and i have to press ok for like a lot of times

 

error

cannot find file:sprite (some gibberish words)

 

can somebody help me fix this pls

before you logged in, did it download the patch? had the same problem earlier, had to force my patcher to... patch.

can u teach me how to repatch?

sure thing. This is how i did it:

 

- go to RO Folder (mine is Local Disk C: -> Gravity -> Ragnarok Online) and look for "patch2" which is a txt document.

- open patch2

- scroll to bottom part, look for lines with 2014-10-15 (example would be  2639 2014-10-15data_gm_r2.gpf)

- select all lines with 2014-10-15, CTRL + X (cut) and paste on a seperate notepad file (just to be safe)

- CTRL + S on patch2 after cut, then close.

- run ragnarok again

 

now i'm no expert, so i really hope some mods intervene here, but we did put paste the old line on a seperate file so

we have a bit of back up.

Had the same problem yesterday, I restarted my pc then let it patch, I think the reason of this error is the sudden disconnection in while patching.

 

try checking your ping before you play 

 

put this on the command prompt

 

ping www.google.com -t

The correct way to force a repatch...

 

0. Exit all RO clients and attempt to patch normally. Make sure it succeeds.

1. Open Patch2.txt, go the the bottom. Verify that it lists the most recent patches. Record the number of the last patch you're *sure* was applied correctly. 

2. Go to: http://choobs.org/stuff/patch.php and enter that number. It will download a patch.inf file. 

3. Go into your RO folder, delete patch.inf, and replace it with the one you downloaded. 

4. Start RO, and it should re-apply the patches.
