Pardon my ignorance I don't main a GX but I have always wondered about a specific situation when encountering MvPs.

 

Say, the GX is DD/Crit built vs an MvP that keeps summoning minions(mob). How would you counter this mechanic? Since DD/Crit will be equipped with duel daggers, ideally the user would want to switch to katar then RC the mob. But, this would mean loosing endows/etc and then have to equip daggers back. How efficient and reliable is this? If there is a better quick way to deal with the MvP mobs please do share!

Hm, Sapha's Cloth will autocast Meteor Assault, which works with daggers and inflict status effects too.

That should help taking care of the mobs, I think. I never try this yet though, so I'm not sure how effective or how often it'll proc.

 

Another option, I guess, will be to use AoE autocast gears/cards, like Ifrit Mask, RoFL-RoR, etc. But those of course, will take up valuable upper head and accessories slots.

 

Or maybe use bapho card for splash damage? /fsh

you need have sapha cloth for crit rate which coincedentally proc meteor assualt and ideal mainhand dagger is faceworm queen dagger so thats another aoe proc...all this at 193 aspd should clear lower mobs pretty fast

Or you could use a status effect card like Hatii depending on the MVP. But yeah, EQ helps a bit.

Though I suppose you could also turn weapon blocking on and use counter slash just when the MVP summons then turn it off right after.

the best way is to ignore mobs, it just wastes your times caring about this in most of the cases.

Depends on which MVP it is more than anything and how troublesome the mobs themselves are.

just kill the boss beside DD critcal GX is really fast, in level 150 GX

not to metion the Flee Rate is high on lv 150  where the mions attack are not that bothering.

I might be making a fool of myself here, but doesn't flee become less and less useful every time a new mob is attacking you?

Flee reduces by 10 for each monster attacking you if there are more than 3 monsters attacking you.

Flee suffers a lot when attacked by lots at once.
