[Suggestion] Remake Seed Rune (Profession Will Be Involved In The Last Option)

Seed Rune become an argument of many player in terms of unbalance in the PvP system, some of them suggest to remove this seed rune system. Instead of totally remove seed rune, I would like to suggest to remake seed rune.

 

Main concept:

Blueseed Rune remake into:

- Chaos Blueseed Rune [10-50]

- Master Blueseed Rune [5-15]

 

Redseed Rune remake into:

- Chaos Redseed Rune [Flame 10-50]

- Chaos Redseed Rune [Blood 10-50]

- Master Redseed Rune [5-15]

 

Greenseed Rune remake into:

- Chaos Greenseed Rune [1 to n]

- Master Greenseed Rune [1 to m]

 

* Chaos Seed Rune only usable on Chaos Gear.

* Master Seed Rune only usable on Master Level Gear.

* Icon of Master Seed Rune will be redesign to avoid confusion with Chaos Seed Rune.

 

* Now, let's take Seed Rune as a 5-15% small incentive, instead of up to 50% huge bonus on older system.

* Master Redseed Rune now no longer categorize into [Flame] and [Blood]. It will now give bonus to all the secondary stats (Hit, Vigor, Haste, Cast Speed, Dodge, Parry, Critical) universally.

* On Greenseed Rune, m<n.

 

 

Okay, we will not discuss Chaos Seed Rune here, since they are for older gears. For the Master Seed Rune, I would like to suggest 3 options to implement them. Let's look at the details:

 

 

Option 1:

Master Blueseed Rune [5-15]

- Master Blueseed Rune now randomly give 5-15% bonus to the primary stats of the particular gear when slotted in.

 

Master Redseed Rune [5-15]

- Master Redseed Rune now randomly give 5-15% bonus to the all the secondary stats of the particular gear when slotted in.

 

Master Greenseed Rune [1 to m]

- Master Greenseed Rune now randomly give 1 to m% bonus skill when slotted in.

 

* Master Seed Rune will drop from monster or boss in Dayr Desert, not from monster in Fallen Fortress. (Monster in Fallen Fortress will continue to drop Chaos Seed Rune)

 

 

Option 2:

Master Blueseed Rune [10] (drop by monster)

Master Blueseed Rune [15] (drop by boss)

 

Master Redseed Rune [10] (drop by monster)

Master Redseed Rune [15] (drop by boss)

 

Master Greenseed Rune [n] (drop by monster)

Master Greenseed Rune [m] (drop by boss)

 

* Master Blue and Red Seed Rune now will have a fix bonus, either 10% or 15% depends on who's drop.

* On Master Greenseed Rune, n<m.

* Fix bonus standardize the stats of the gear to minimize unbalance cause by Seed Rune.

 

 

Option 3 (Profession Involved):

Now here comes the complicated part, Profession will be involved now. This idea pop out because Alchemist and Chef never directly involved in gear crafting, and thus lead to their unpopularity in the game, especially Chef. So I would like to involve Alchemist and Chef in gear building in this way. Okay, let's continue:

 

The Raw Seed Rune:

Hard Solid Blueseed Rune [5] (a direct drop from monster)

Hard Pearl Blueseed Rune [10] (a direct drop from boss)

 

Hard Solid Redseed Rune [5] (a direct drop from monster)

Hard Pearl Redseed Rune [10] (a direct drop from boss)

 

Hard Solid Greenseed Rune [n] (a direct drop from monster)

Hard Pearl Greenseed Rune [m] (a direct drop from boss)

 

* Hard State Seed Rune directly drop from monster and boss now have a fix bonus, either [Solid 5%] or [Pearl 10%] on Blue and Red Seed Rune. m>n on Greenseed Rune.

 

Hard State Seed Rune is something raw and unshaped, they cannot be slot directly into rune hole. So here comes the Chef, you need a Chef to heat (craft) the Hard State Seed Rune with some materials and turns it into a well processed Soft State Seed Rune. Soft State Seed Rune can now be slotted into rune hole.

 

The Processed seed Rune:

Soft Solid Blueseed Rune [5]

Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune [10]

 

Soft Solid Redseed Rune [5]

Soft Pearl Redseed Rune [10]

 

Soft Solid Greenseed Rune [n]

Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune [m]

 

 

Here is the 6 new craft recipe for the Chef:

1) Recipe: Soft Solid Blueseed Rune [5] (drop by monster)

Process: Hard Solid Blueseed Rune [5] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Earth = Soft Solid Blueseed Rune [5]

 

2) Recipe: Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune [10] (drop by boss)

Process: Hard Pearl Blueseed Rune [10] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Earth + Tri-Element Essence = Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune [10]

 

3) Recipe: Soft Solid Redseed Rune [5] (drop by monster)

Process: Hard Solid Redseed Rune [5] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Life = Soft Solid Redseed Rune [5]

 

4) Recipe: Soft Pearl Redseed Rune [10] (drop by boss)

Process: Hard Pearl Redseed Rune [10] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Life + Tri-Element Essence = Soft Pearl Redseed Rune [10]

 

5) Recipe: Soft Solid Greenseed Rune [n] (drop by monster)

Process: Hard Solid Greenseed Rune [n] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Firmament = Soft Solid Greenseed Rune [n]

 

6) Recipe: Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune [m] (drop by boss)

Process: Hard Pearl Greenseed Rune [m] + Charcoal + Eternal Flame + Source of Pure Firmament + Tri-Element Essence = Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune [m]

 

* A Level 50 Chef is required to learn these recipes.

* All craft give an amount of exp to the Chef.

* Charcoal can be bought from Chef expert.

 

 

Since Seed Rune now have a fix bonus, [Solid 5%] and [Pearl 10%], Alchemist now come in the way that they can craft "Seed Rune Treatment Potion". After applied Seed Rune Treatment Potion on Soft Seed Rune, the Soft Seed Rune will randomly gain +1% to +5% on it.

 

 

Here is the 6 new craft formula for Alchemist:

1) Formula: Soft Solid Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by monster)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Earth + Bottle = Soft Solid Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

2) Formula: Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by boss)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Earth + Tri-Element Essence + Bottle = Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

3) Formula: Soft Solid Redseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by monster)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Life + Bottle = Soft Solid Redseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

4) Formula: Soft Pearl Redseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by boss)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Life + Tri-Element Essence + Bottle = Soft Pearl Redseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

5) Formula: Soft Solid Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by monster)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Firmament + Bottle = Soft Solid Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

6) Formula: Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion (drop by boss)

Process: Sand of Life + Bifrost Powder + Source of Pure Firmament + Tri-Element Essence + Bottle = Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion

 

* A Level 50 Alchemist is required to learn these recipes.

* All craft give an amount of exp to the Alchemist.

 

 

Here is the 6 results of using Seed Rune Treatment Potion:

1) Soft Solid Blueseed Rune [5] + Soft Solid Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Solid Blueseed Rune [6-10].

 

2) Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune [10] + Soft Pearl Blueseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Pearl Blueseed Rune [11-15].

 

3) Soft Solid Redseed Rune [5] + Soft Solid Redseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Solid Redseed Rune [6-10].

 

4) Soft Pearl Redseed Rune [10] + Soft Pearl Redseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Pearl Redseed Rune [11-15].

 

5) Soft Solid Greenseed Rune [n] + Soft Solid Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Solid Greenseed Rune [n+1 to n+5].

 

2) Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune [m] + Soft Pearl Greenseed Rune Treatment Potion = Treated Pearl Greenseed Rune [m+1 to m+5].

 

* Seed Rune Treatment Potion can only apply on Soft Seed Rune.

* Seed Rune Treatment Potion cannot apply on Hard Seed Rune and Treated Seed Rune.

 

* Treated Seed Rune is the final state of the Seed Rune, it cannot be change further more.

 

 

To clear some terms confusion, here is some small notes:

* Seed Rune's name divided into 3 category: [Rune State] [Drop Type] [Colour Type]

* [Rune State]: Hard = Raw drop; Soft = Processed by Chef; Treated = Processed by Alchemist's Potion.

* [Drop Type]: Solid = monster drop; Pearl = boss drop.

* [Colour Type] Blue; Red; Green.

Okay, that's all for my suggestion in Seed Rune Remake, hopes it can bring back the fun of the Seed Rune, and also Alchemist and Chef. Any further suggestion and feedback are welcome. Thank you.  :p_smile:

 

I'd like to make it avaible for all professions, like other proc materials such as Firmament Essence or Source of Life , except this, its either crazy/good way/idea to rework on seeds :D

Option no 1

 

The Master Seed Runes could use boarder range cause 10-15 seem insignificant and could turn off player from chasing max. Although I get why you set it on those numbers, because as the gears become newer the stats become bigger and you want to tame the seeds prowess and not the other way around. 

 

How MSR 1-15 or 5-15 sounds to you? I think in that way players will get more motivated to invest time or money to get it, while still stay true to your suggestion core point.        

 

Option no 2

 

I don't think this fixed % seeds is a good idea cause it lack the challenges. And I'm gambleholic.  

 

Option no 3

 

Seems like a complete different but still related to seeds suggestion on its own. I can't see any spots to put a flag on, as it is neat one. I won't mind this at all.
