Hello everyone, I'm still new to the game and I finished my job change, and finished my homunculus quest. But for some reason I can't make any potions or any embryos. This started to bother me because I just can't seem to get it to work. I have all the stuff I need to for potion making and making an embryo, but it does not seem to work. I hope someone can help me for give me an idea on what I need to do to fix this little problem. Please and thanks.

things you need to use the skill : Pharmacy

Potion Creation Book

Seed of Life
Morning Dew of Yggdrassil
Glass Tube

also consumes 1 Medicine Bowl per cast.

You can buy all of these at the alchemist guild. The medicine bowl is at a different npc.
i just tried it today without problems.

If you don't see the menu displayed, you're missing bowls or books.

If you get the menu, but it always shows failure and doesn't consume items, you're missing other ingredients.

Also if you are playing with "effects off" you wont be able to see the success or failure animation over your character head, (I recently figured this out), in this case you may also need to check the items box to see if the items are consumed or the chat log to make sure the skills succeed.

Well I have all those items, and the embryo it consumes the items for it, but for the potions it only consumes the medicine bowl. The menu pops up, it does not say skill failed. And yes I am using the right skills. I am curretly lvl 73 now still with this problem. This skill just keeps saying I'm failing at making potions and embryo(which I spent so much money on)

Maybe your success rate is very low.

It sounds like you don't have all of the items.

I don't know why people tell me this, I have every single item I need. Maybe my success rate is low. But I have all the items.

Well it worked one time, seems I must have the worst of luck. Well thank you for the help, it still sucks that my luck with this is so bad. Oh well, thanks again.

I don't know why people tell me this, I have every single item I need. Maybe my success rate is low. But I have all the items.

Because if you have all the items, then the needed items are consumed. Since they were not consumed ("but for the potions it only consumes the medicine bowl"), it follows that you did not have all of the items for the potions.

You can't control luck, but you can influence your success rate.
