Hmm could had swore there would be a starter package in the mailbox, given that was implemented after noels were added in for any character created.

 

Also what is the deal with the names? I did try to make a new Rabastan, however name taken. Tried my sin's name (Odin) also taken. My guess names are shared between both Odin and Freya?

In Odin when they dropped noels on us, older players never got them...would had thought Freya everyone would get them.

IF they do give out the packages later, they better give to everyone (without having to make an entirely new character to get it).

For these two reasons, I'm now at a loss. But looking forward, I believe it's the most conservative choice to move to Freyja now. I don't have any ideas for my name though.

I would wait a bit more for official info that maintenance is over and Freyja server is finally available for players, folks.
WP staff might be testing something like availability of IGNs or issues on the open source. Better safe now than sorry later, game won't run away.

Freyja is already available. And I haven't got the starter package either. I'll try in Odin creating a new player. Let's find out if they removed them for good or it's just in Freyja.

 

PS: If they removed them for good they just screwed up my plan of leveling up as smith and changing to alche with Guardian Rune

 

PS2: HUGE LOL @ no Change server button... had to exit and re-open the game.

About the name being repeated, I suspected that will happen considering how KRO2 had the same limit to avoid impersonation, but then because of that I discovered the beta tester accounts were never deleted.

 

To be true they should add a last name option.

 

Anyway I hope they let us take those name that are still under reservation from the reserve name event when the server launched

i really want the starter package to change my job to chef when i reach level 50 and because i normally use all my skill points on level 50 to have a little more chance to pass the master level quest and then use an skill reset to have a grinding build

I just tested creating a new char on Odin, and it got the package. Seems only Freyjan chars don't get it, which sucks and it's stupid.

 

And really, we need a Change Server button, how could they forget something so essential? x.x

Basically. So I just put an L(estrange) in front of Rabastan's name in Freya.

Exactly. I don't see how that package caused imbalance or anything.

If it did, was mostly in Odin for players that had characters before noels, whom never got the package at all...I was thankful when they finally added the chance of a drop of large bags due to that. There was no way I was starting my main characters there from scratch because of a few extra (very wanted) spaces in bags.

Names are intended not to cross over to avoid name sniping if we were to merge characters or servers at some point in the future.

 

We've opened up naming restrictions to allow numbers.

 

I'll look into the starter packages.

So... Are they going to do the same to all of us who made chars before Noels came out in Odin when other classes come out? I had 5 chars before that... I'm not risking anything now, I'm just gonna stick with my Noel, but if they do that again I will rage quit. C:

Now there are 2 different servers.

That's mean Odin's players never meet Freya's players. It's like we had 2 different games, 2 different communities.

Now 1 warportal ro2 account = 2 account in game

And on the forum, now we will confund 2 players who have same ign, but who play 1 on each server.

 

So that change nothing for Odin's players, we have just one more account on other server freya.

Don't worry. They are planning to merge the two servers soon. Even Njoror mentioned the idea.

Its just me or is the Xp gartering rate off a bit on freyja

 

Cos i only got to the 1 kafra lady and I am already  lv 6 almost 7

 

and i did not evean kill a single mob that i did not need to also i only did 1 khara quest

Apparently we're getting Three times the exp from quests.. not sure if it also applies to mobs / gathering, but my magician is level 7 too, and still in academy. :/
