There have been a couple of bugs I have noticed recently about battle states.
One is when, after a battle, you are stuck in a battle state and unable to do anything that requires you to not be in a battle state. This includes harvesting, using flying kafras, even quitting the game. The only way to solve this is force quitting the game using task manager. Doesn't matter how far away from the area you run, you are forever stuck in this state until you force crash the client and restart.
The other bug happened today on Freyja server with my acolyte (not sure if it is class/server specific), fighting the boss in the memory dungeon. Got stuck in holy light casting stance, couldn't loot body, couldn't jump/sit/anything, change character was greyed out. Was floating along in the stance. Quitting game client and starting it back up fixed problem.
