Normally, it took between 150-200 kills to get a Jelly Nut summon to drop. I had farmed many of those, I think they're cute. Today, over 1000 kills and not one Jelly Nut dropped! Have they been eliminated?

Try using some of the drop tier gems, see if it breaks that string of bad luck.

Hmm, I farmed them for years, I don't think it's RNG. I really don't think they will drop! But, for feces and giggles I'll try the drop Gems, Feuer.

I know there is a quest from the livestock farmer outside of Zant that ensures you get a capsule. If you feel like it, its like 30 proofs = 1 capsule. So that might be a faster route. He also offers pumpkins and one other I believe.

The bad news is that the quest is for a jelly bean pet, not a jelly nut. But the good news is that it only takes 10 proofs

Eh, close enough. And that's cool I remember it being a lot more, or I may be getting the other proof quests mixed up. There's one in Zant, Junon, and on Luna. Wish they'd add some Eldeon + Orlo ones. That or I just haven't found them.

Isn't there one on Orlo? I know there is a farmer on Orlo in Muris.

The guy's name in Muris is Hafis. He is the one closest to the gates and also the guy that has the quest for the cowboy hat. Anyway he offers repeatable quests where you can get exp as well as Mastyx, Desert Asper and Scavenger pets. All you have to do is kill 10 of whichever kind of pet you want.. You get about 1mil exp if I remember correctly and ofc the exp from killing the mobs so it's not a bad deal.

Tbh, I've been to Muris 1 time, i have 0 purpose for that entire city.

You can go give the bones you find during killing orlo mobs there (those give a ton of exp when lvling). But aside from that, not much to do in that town.

I can think of some things- for example the many killing quests and the valor quests. The quests all give a nice chunk of exp and you're already killing the same mobs anyway so why not take the quests and get that bonus.  Then the other little quests like for the pets and probably the most important one of all

I did all the non-repeatable quests on one character, but didn't feel like doing it again. I've also tried some of the quests but I've come to the conclusion that the time it takes moving around would be better spent continuing to kill mobs.

When you say Moon, do you mean a certain Mage which I am not allowed to name, or do you mean the mobs in Forgotten Temple? If you mean the mage, he doesn't play anymore to my knowledge.

Maybe in future there should be a NPC(Livestock Farmer) in ADP?  

 

That would be cool for new players to have a pets to help fight!
