I've been wondering it is intention or not when Bourgeoi's AOEs are a little different from Mage's AOEs when it comes to how they are casted.
Detail explanation:
- Both Mage and Bourg has (Target) AOE.
- By (Target), it means you gotta left-click on a certain hostile character in order to successfully cast the skill.
- Now what confuses me is:
Condition:
1) In a group or party leveling combatting.
2) There are another AOE characters besides you.
Now for a Mage:
Case 1: Target and cast skill -> The target is still alive -> Cast successfully, skill does damage in AOE.
Case 2: Target and cast skill -> The target is dead upon your casting (*) -> Cast successfully, skill does damage in AOE.
(*) As soon as you cast your skill, the other player kill your target.
Now for a Bourg:
Case 1: Target and cast skill -> The target is still alive -> Cast successfully, skill does damage in AOE.
Case 2: Target and cast skill -> The target is dead upon your casting (*) -> Cast failed, animation cancelled, no damage dealt.
(*) As soon as you cast your skill, the other player kill your target.
As a result, your still cools down, although it didn't work, didn't have a chance to work, to deal damage. Consequencely, Bourg wastes a skill and a amount of time waiting for cooldown time over.
So I'm confused if this is intentionally designed or it's a longlast bug?
My favourite classes are Artisan and Bourg so I'm really eager to know this.
Thank you for reading and your ideas.
