They change to completely nullify magic damage including debuff/buff to remove. What I propose is something like fixed magic damage reduction and the chance of buff/debuff

 

 

Even I don't like the effect of gtb, making new physical version of gtb I can't agree.

 

You missed my sarcasm. My point was, if there's a magic nullification effect and people don't think it's overpowered, then lets see how they feel when their physical class is suddenly made useless. Then they'd be suggesting its change, just like the magic users (and those who want actual balance) suggest gtb's change.

 

 

 

The pro-GTB people are basically just "its fine if it helps me but not thee".

 

 

 

 

 

In reality, so that GTB doesn't make maya seem useless or second rate (because, who really wants to take 50% damage when you can just nullify it completely?), GTB should offer something like a set amount of mdef instead with a low chance to proc 100% spell immunity. If it was a timed spell immunity, it would make it more like SW/Pneuma/Kyrie which do not have an infinite duration.

it just pisses me off that in the ragnarok anime GTB was killed with magnum break! cmon ppl, magnum break cannot kill GTB! On topic though, in pvp/woe GTB really is not game breaking because it can be countered quite easily considering the user gives up the 30% redcuction to demi. As far as pvm goes GTB makes mvps and other hard to kill monsters a joke but I could care less because it is a high end item and should be OP but I can agree with others in saying that GTB boss is stupid ez to kill. I mean look at Thanatos MVP or LK MVP cards, very beastly cards but the monsters that drop them are typically not ez to kill and can be even harder to solo. Can you actually solo LK MVP with out a thousand tokens, and is GTB a male or female?

It's too late to buff the GTB mvp now. There are already so many cards floating around, they'd have to delete all the GTB cards and then buff the monster, and of course that wont happen because it would cause an uproar. So basically our only options are to ask for an effect change, or just deal with it's brokenness.

 

 

 

If we're forced to deal with it's brokenness though, then I'd really, really like to see a physical nullification version that also drops from a newly introduced low tier mvp.

The effect is actually very similar to Thanatos '

i know the numbers might not express the real card numbers, but this still suggest that spawn rate  is not a big problem.9 cards in 2 years sound okay thinking the spawn rate, ET farmers and the BBs.

  if gtb is carded in a shield  +2k weight a good trade off for such a card. you as a player now cant carry your kitchen sink of gear/pots like your vacationing from the next big infectious disease to blow over

Disabling GTB effect unless the user has a sleipnir equipped would create the same effect.

you can't rely on that, I used to equip gtb on all my chars, let ropd pick it up then close my gear for ever.

Using stave crasher is like clicking monster but with matk damage

 

Also giving magic class physical damage skill won't solve it brokeness in pvm
