Eh, it isn't like this didn't happen before, but forcing Freyja down our throats just made it worse.

this is a war game

First notice I have of that.

Well he has as much right to be there as any other player. There's grounds for penalty if he's intentionally harassing your party, but otherwise if he's minding his own business, it's a big map and it can be shared.

This has been a problem since the PH joined the server. Mass influx of players vying for the same 14 spots against ml 30 zeny farmers and other parties. But ho! That surely isn't enough fun, so we'll cut out a large chunk of your channels, then add a whole nother region so you can enjoy the headache that is AoV!

Kind of why I quit grinding. Really kills any fun in the game when you have to deal with a-holes like this over and over and over(or they can't understand english and just yell at you in some foreign language while repeatedly ks-ing and stalking your party.... yea sooooooo fun).

Not to say that the ML 30 players are any better. I've seen some "NA" people be super douches too.

This game.... so much.... fun  :p_sick:

hhmm Stealing MP... isn't that when someone attack the mobs that you're attacking, and resulting of getting partial MP?  ( I've experienced that a lot in DWU )

If you don't get any MP at all, I'm not sure how that's stealing MP.

but it's a shared map, what can I say. People do quests, farm zenny, and grind all the time, regardless of who's being here/there first.

that's not new that happen to me a lot of times when im grinding alone or in party. ML between 20-30 stealing what you are luring just because they can do that alone ¬.¬/

Well he has as much right to be there as any other player. There's grounds for penalty if he's intentionally harassing your party, but otherwise if he's minding his own business, it's a big map and it can be shared.

you right it can be shared but if someone or a party is using a spot he/she/they should be respected. i was abble to be a solo grinder with my knight when i was ML 1 and i always tried to use some condors spawns that the party or the solo grinder dont use sometimes taking 2 of 9 groups that are in use because that two points have a fast respawn and is not something that can affect

Exactly the reason i keep saying they have to delete the bonus party snd reduce the needed exps. Think this if everyone grind alone will get more or less 1/5 of the exp you actually get in party fir the same time of grind so if the exp needed to lv up are reduced at 1/5 the time needed to lv up will be the same BUT instead of only 1 party of 5 ppl per spot ee will be able to have way more than 5 players in the same spot. To avoid zenny farmers killing mobs snd selling gears in dayr the easiest way is lower the drop rate for gears making this kind of farm for zenny less appealing

I don't think she was blaming PH players because they're ph players, but rather focusing on the fact that having many more players in a server with limited channels means "too much people for few spots"; and now we have less channels than then and with SEA players too, so that situation has worsened as there are much more players and less channels.

I've found myself reaching new spots to grind since i was tired of having people trying to lure the mukas near me, but I understand it's hard to get enough mobs for everyone. Still, we have to respect each other and try to find a way to grind / farm without getting in each other's ways.

What the... belittling?

Sensitive much?

On a serious note, most of the rude players I've encountered are well... one of us. I long quit playing in pRO for that reason, alone. I took solace in playing with people not from our country and I have not regretted it. Sure there will always be d-bags, regardless of race/ethnicity, but just being honest, we are being shunned for being overly sensitive, and acting as if the game is ours that no one can share.

Lastly, I can smell a fellow countrymen by his actions so PLEASE, ask first if the person is willing to duel or to join a party rather than sending invites right before asking for permission. It gets quite annoying when you're doing some storage cleaning or buying your stuff and then you get interrupted by duel requests, and the likes.

Ok..so she started mentioning about PH Players coming in yada yada yada...

and then..
"Kind of why I quit grinding. Really kills any fun in the game when you have to deal with a-holes like this over and over and over(or they can't understand english and just yell at you in some foreign language while repeatedly ks-ing and stalking your party.... yea sooooooo fun)."

So can you please specify?I think the whole paragraph is not necessary.

So what if she mentioned PH players? Stop being so sensitive. Indirectly, it's not doing any good. It only further justifies the stereotype.

Let it go.

And I totally suggest that we should be sensitive enough to think of what words to write before we post them. This is not just NA server anymore. If you have nothing good to say then just zip it.

Anyway, I don't want to start some flame around here. I just want RESPECT. If you think someone violated something, then report him/her. And not just go around spitting foul words. WE ALSO READ FORUMS.

BTW..I am not talking about the SPOT issue. I just don't like the way she reacted.

Let me start saying that i have nothing against anyone based on their country or race or whatever. I usually only judge based on attitudes, since i think "idiots" and rude people come in all shapes and colors.

She wasn't blaming PH players only,  read again the bit you quoted from her: "deal with a-holes like this" refers to the kind of kstealer that's depicted in the screenshot, that's to say "an arrogant player who thinks they can do whatever they want". Next comes the part that might have offended you: "or they can't understand english and just yell in some foreign language"; in no place she's specifically talking about ph players, french, spanish, mexican, whatever country that doesn't speak english can fall under that statement, since as i said, idiots can come from everywhere, and it's true that some of them tend to insult for no reason in a language you can't understand.

I don't see any disrespect for your country, community or your own person in there, she was just talking about rude, arrogant players who screwed up the fun for her (and for others) by kstealing and stalking their party, so yeah, no need to be overly sensitive on this. She wasn't insulting you or ph players at all.

Take a break from the forums for yours and our sanity.

I just don't like the way she reacted.

If you didn't like what someone wrote, you should have worded it better or better yet, ignore it.

Thanks faku1810 for defending me. I'm glad someone understood what I was trying to say.

I wasn't trying to attack PH players. I was trying to speak in general terms in regards to the ENTIRE playerbase now, not just specific regions. I'm sorry if you misunderstood or were offended. The a-holes comment was in regards to players like the one the topic starter pointed out. That's not to mean PH players specifically, what I meant was that anyone with the mindset of the player pointed out (this includes original "NA" members aswell).

The sentence about foreign languages was in regards to ALL the new languages that have appeared in the game since PH and SEA merger. It's very hard to come to some sort of agreement or arrangement for farming, when you simply cannot communicate with the other party. They have their own agenda, you do too, and unfortunately there will be points when your paths cross and often it seems like both sides take things the wrong way.

I guess I worded my post wrongly, so sorry for that.

Fewer channels seems to make the greed more apparent.  I was trying to get khara from willow on an alt the other day and a guy would NOT let me get it.  I kept explaining that I just needed one, I wasn't interested in the DNA.  After a very frustrating 45 minutes, he finally added me to the party so I could get it.  He was a sin who stayed in hide most of the time and he had an uncanny ability to know when and where it was going to spawn.  He never said a single word to me the entire time...so I don't know if he didn't speak english or what.

I agree with what Rai said, we need to have a little respect for one another and add people to parties instead of just trying to beat them to something.  After the PH came to the server, I could NOT get a grinding party for another of my alts.  I had to solo her to ML20.  =/  Now I don't know if that is cultural/language....just more people on server...I don't know so don't take that personally because it's not blaming anyone.

Dayr is huge, they could add more mobs for grinding to it.  Lots of wasted space out there.  Also zeny farmers could go kill mobs at the end of the map instead of where people (used) to do stops for leveling.

Well, there are golems, sandmen and sapphire wolf zones where high density of mobs are present, right? Just go there.
It's just that condor and muka are more convenient because of the NPCs and elements, but they're not the only option.

I've never really understood why people prefer mukas, from what i've seen, all the mobs after mukas drop C class gear, so they can be farmable. In fact, and I hope i won't lose my spot now (lol, jk) I took the time to walk all the way to the end of dayr and found a nice spot with Earth mobs that i don't remember the name,  that are near some sellers, so they can be farmed for zeny as well. For someone like me who preferred Golems over Condors, these earth guys are a gift from heavens. And the only price is to save location there and use other means to move around the world (like Jehoon's scroll to go to payon, not the most convenient, but it's not so far from Alberta anyways).

Anyways, i'm not saying go to the end of dayr to get loot, but try other mobs. I've asked several times why mukas were THE mob to kill for zenny, making me think that the other mobs would drop only smelly bandage or something, but I killed a few different mobs on my way and saw they drop accesories and gear, so they can be farmed just as well, with the only issue of having the sellers further away. BUT, this only means that players could agree on leaving mukas for those who farm zenny, because they're more convenient and those who want to level up can kill saphires or something. I don't see why it HAS to be mukas, since those should give just as much mp, or am i wrong? (maybe i should go check that).

Also, a great option would be to sell "remote kafra shop scrolls" so we can farm zenny anywhere and still be able to sell, (and even buy bwings or jehoon's scrolls depending on what we need). But I doubt they'll add something like that, so let's just try to find a way to get what we all want and enjoy the game.

But I doubt they'll add something like that, so let's just try to find a way to get what we all want and enjoy the game.

Some stuff:

Main reason for Muka Grind is that theres many mukas next to each other and easily lureable. Plus the kafra shop is nearby so they can farm Zeny if they want to. I grinded my warrior at Sapphire wolves easily cause that meant that i didnt have to run back and forth to sell those drops for zeny so all that running ended up in wolves getting killed. Also the reason why ppl arent grinding wolves that much is that theres less wolves together than at mukas also theres less wolves total than at Muka farm. so the luring time + Killing time is way longer + Less wolves when lured everything near = Less exp per Hour.

PS: Full party will have to wait for a awhile to have (Enough) Sapphire wolves to respawn, since theres not that many monsters Per wave.

Muka zenny Grind: Pretty much same reason as above (Meaning Many mobs together + Easily & Fast to lure + Easy & Fast to Kill + Loot Worth way more since you can get WAY more loot in same time than at other places)

Monsters do give same amount of Exp. But that depends on the level of the player <-> Monster to get that same exp.

Condors are being favored than golems is simply that they use the same element with Mummies from Osiris tomb so they dont need more weapons for killin stuff (Altho its not a big deal to get a green wep + Element). And you can lure pretty much everything to one point and kill all in a small area in small time rather than at Golems (That area is way bigger + the time to gather the golems + the amount of golems lured differs a bit).
