Good morning everyone. Currently we are in the middle of restoring Chaos Renewal after we received reports of quest, kill count and item trades not saving when moving from map to map. This issue also occurred last month, and was the result of the database servers filling up and preventing new information from being processed. 

 

 

 

Knowing the billions of items they accumulate, it sounds like you guys need to work harder to get rid of the bots, at least cut their numbers down to before F2P came into effect.

True dat.  Their IT people ain't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed when it comes to pro-active fixes for things.

it takes way too long to investigate if a player is botting or not, and at last count there's only 1 GM dedicated to bot hunting on staff.  Assuming this guy isn't a bot himself, odds are he's pulling a 8-10 hr shift.

 

It's really annoying when there are so many damn bots on the payon spawn point that the resulting stacked academy hats remind me of a tree's age rings.

I really don't like roll backs. I am doing the overnight vendiing. Maybe GMs can get items for free only using some commands but I cannot. It really takes time to hunt for items and then sell them for zeny. If after roll back, I cannot get either my money or items back, I doubt if ticket is really helpful. The team really replies the tickets with very low efficiency.

 

Furthermore, though I like the various events of iro, is it really fair for those who didn't suffer from the roll back to enjoy the compensation? They did nothing and they just enjoy benefits, then how do the players with loss of either exp or zeny think? 

 

Just my personal opinion.

so how would you propose this be differentiated?  would you prefer that the gms waste even MORE time to try to determine who suffered a loss vs who didn't?  that's a totally inefficient way of going about resolving this.  A rising tide raises all boats.
