So, I've been gone for a hot minute. About a year long minute, almost. xD I was just wondering if anything new has happened with this class over the past year? Gear, stats, anything at all really.

Well, leveling them is pretty nice, with SR anyway. The Glast Heim Boots really make Severe Rainstorm powerful.

 

However, they won't get their next piece of helpful equipment until we get Heroes' Trails Part 2, which won't be for 2 or 3 months.

 

Autocast builds don't really benefit from much more recently than the shadow sets, same with the metallic sound/reverberation build. You can get a bit more MATK than before thanks to the glast heim boots though.

I assume DEX boots? And for enchants? EA with hawkeye?

Yes, you can do +9~12 DEX boots to get a large amount of DEX, which boosts SR damage, and also +8% ranged damage baked into the boots. You can also get the Hawkeye enchant, which when it triggers, will practically double your SR damage. Given how many hits SR does, it procs nearly every AoE. If you somehow proc the enchant BEFORE casting SR, the damage will be more like triple, as you'll have another 200% on every bolt, plus the enhanced ATK from 200 dex. Its very hard to do, though, since the delay on SR is so long. By time you're able to recast SR, hawkeye has ended (sadface).

 

With the next update (Heroes Trails Pt 2) we'll get Bow of Storms[1], which will hopefully remedy that, because it lowers SR cooldown by 2 seconds.

Also I forgot to mention somewhere between faceworm nest and heroes part 2, kro got some frozen northland weapons, which included a whip and guitar with high matk, which will help the sound amp/metallic build.
