So my wife is nearly a level 99 wizard and we were wondering if we should have her go high wizard or straight to warlord? What are the pros of going High Wizard first?

20 more skill points for 2nd class, 25% more HP/SP. Mystical Amplification.
Its silly NOT to go high wizard.

Warlock not Warlord......
Warlord is melee class type in RPG but Warlock is magical class type.
Warlock is represented as insane magician who can evoke massive damage. Unfornuately, in iRO, after latest balancing, Warlock deal very very low damage.
About Hi-wiz, there are 2 essencial skills, Mystic Amp and Soul Drain. Warlock uses very much sp to cast spells. Without Soul Drain, your SP can be depleted in some situation, but with Soul Drain, you can refill your SP, even you are overweight and cannot regen SP.

From some random RPG book from Google
WARLORD
WARLOCK
There are bunch of RPG classes that still not use in RO. If class4 will be exist in the future, we can see WARLORD in RO.
