2 whole days of not being able to log in i'm sure my rival has surely passed me by now and after i spent so much time getting a lead on him in level not to mention the deals and trades i've had set up my gear i was saving for etc 
just a little note that it's being worked on would be nice.

Uh, what error are you getting? What problem are you having?
Whenever asking for help with technical issues - anywhere, not just with RO, it is critical to report the exact text of any and all error messages you receive, or a screenshot of them if that's not practical.
