We know right now for alchemist-biochemist-genetic there is a homunculus loyalty event right now where after maintenance all participants homu will have their intimacy set to loyal?

I remember seeing a post by one of the Moderators that this event was to give a helping hand to the loyal alchemist players.

This then gave me a thought.

Why don't we have loyalty events for all class tiers, alchemist branch having the homunculus loyalty event + others, however all other classes have loyalty events as well, this can be done in a rotation with each class branch getting a loyalty event for 2 week periods, some suggestions which we will discuss and further till there is a balance that people can agree upon:

Loyalty event for Priest branch: All healing skills recieve a bonus 100% boost in potency

Loyalty event for Knight branch: All weapon mastery skills increase by +5 ATK per skill level, all weapon mastery skills are set to level 10 regardless of investment or not

these are such example, I know the Knight one sounds very ridiculously stupid and pointless but you get the general idea of what I am trying to put across. What do you guys think? Give some opinions! Also, make sure its something that benefits the whole branch of the class, so nothing that specifically can only effect a certain job itself that cannot benefit its precedant classes (like say loyalty event to make the Assumptio skill work with pre-renewal mechanics, a normal priest misses out on this, and so do baby priests and baby bishops).

I approve of special events dedicate to a themed class. I'll throw an idea for for super novice.

Loyalty event for Super Novice branch (Requires lv.70) :

Add a npc in Aldebaran that cast Super Novice Spirit with a 100% chance to remove the death penalty to get the +10 to all stats back, 1 hour cooldown before it can be cast again.

i dont even like that they added the event for homumcs... the fact that its a pain in the butt to get them loyal is a small price to pay for teh fact that genes can move faster and MVP better than everybody else... no to mention they are the only class that gets to use AI constantly to help them in game...

Blacksmith event!

  • Upgrade Weapon/JLV bonuses increased to 1% (instead of .5%) per jlv to a maximum of 20% at j70.
  • Smith Weapon bonuses increased to 20/30/40 from 10/20/30.
  • Halved (rounded up) item requirements for Smith Weapon skills.
  • Star Crumb bonuses increased to 10/20/80 from 5/10/40.
  • Double rank points per successfully forged weapon.

What about an event for pet intimacy?

I know there have been other ideas to increase their intimacy but not sure if this was mentioned.

It doesn't have to go all the way to loyal but something that makes it at least neutral.

I don't use pets anymore but I'm sure this would be great for people that do or people that would like to use them.

The class loyalty bonuses would have to be disabled in WoE maps.

That do you mean by "weapon bonuses"? The Star Crumbs? The Upgrade Weapon skill?

In general, there's no point in forging on Renewal since the weapons are underpowered and outclassed by other, more readily available things, but maybe doubling the Star Crumb bonus is a bit too much. How about 8/15/60?

Instead, elemental weapons could be Lv2 of their respective element! Wouldn't that be a good incentive~ /rice

If you're referring to Upgrade Weapon, yeah that could be taken out. Even if they can break, the chance of success would be too high.

Star Crumbs. What's the point of giving a small boost if you could get a much better weapon anyways? If you really want forged weapons to be a thing, add level 4 weapon options.

Also, element level only applies to the defending player/monster.

The monk line may get an event where using gfist does not incur the 10 second cooldown from using sp regeneratives....maybe?

You don't generally need hunter event, everybody's already playing one anyways :P

Now if you narrow it down to trapper event...

It sounds interesting in theory, my only concern would be those who didn't manage to do the event and WoE. Depending on the buffs of course, it would kind of set you behind the competition and while I realize it's a reward, it doesn't really seem fair in a competitive environment. Maybe if they were PVM-only?

if youre going to a loyalty event for specific classes it shouldnt be anything more than a boosted EXP/job exp event for a specific class...

I do not agree with the pvm only idea. Not like say; removing cooldown for most Warlock skills in a warlock loyalty event will make everyone only use warlocks for woe, sure there will be a spike in how many will appear at woe but its not going to be as any more beneficial, considering how easy it is to one shot a warlock at woe.
