Hey Guys,

I am looking to make an alchemist to help pay for my white potion usage by making them from the white herbs I collect. How difficult is it to make white potions consistently? How expensive is it to acquire whatever I need to do this?

You can substitute regular slims with aloe leaflets (open a buy shop in comodo for aloes) which should help.

yes, aloes heal the same as white pot but 7,5x lighter. or you can use pumpkins with witch pumpkin hat + alarm mask to make pumpkins heal as much as white potions. and pumpkins are buyable for 15z each.

I meant to ask about MAKING my own white potions instead of using aloe and pumpkins. I do not have very much money since I have only been playing maybe 2 weeks.

I don't think it's really worth the effort to make your own white potions to try to save money. As others have noted above you won't save much - plus white potions are not going to be an acceptable form of hp regen for long (they're too heavy to carry enough of when you're past early third job, maybe earlier depending on class), so it won't be useful long term unless you're going to use the potter for something else (it's common and economically sound to make potter bio to supply genetic with acids and grenades, if you use a lot of them). Especially early on, it's a lot of leveling effort to devote to a character of limited immediate use - it would probably be better to devote that leveling effort to your main.

The white herbs themselves sell for almost as much as a white potion, because they have other uses for alchemists (Increase hp potions, for example). So unless you've got over a 90% success rate on them, you would get more out of just selling the herbs and buying pots.

Oh, wow, yeah, white herb prices are back up to almost the price of white potions. I hadn't realized wherb prices had recovered just about 100% from the last raffle event... Yeah, at these herb prices, you'd need to get very good rates just to break even...

That pretty much drives a stake through the heart of this idea.
