I have an idea, what if Ragnarok Online 2 have Weapon Skill scroll.

It is a scroll that can teach players a unique weapon skill. 

 

for example, A skill that deals multiple weapon attack. Damage of each attack will be depending on the type of the weapon skill scroll, if its for STR type, the damage will depend on the STR of player and if INT type, it will depend on the INT of the player(same for WIS,AGI,VIT).

Also this weaponskill will not only for attacking, this can be a buffs type weapon skill(supportive skills).

Unique weapon skill scroll can be drop by any monster but with drop rate same as the rare items in-game.

 

How to use:

When you have Unique weapon skill scroll, just right click the scroll and there you have it. but you still need skill points to have this skill.

 

So you need to buy Reset skill points to have this skill. (FMCG )

But I'm suggesting additional skill in the form of scroll items. It will be an additional Skill if you use weapon skill scroll(weapon skill scroll since the additional skill will be connected to your weapon). runes are by chance, Weapon skills can give you additional attack/buffs skill for a period of time and reusable after cooldown.

 

I think, we can have runes + additional skills

suggesting this because I think this will help RO2 to release items that can motivate old and new players to farm/grind new rate item.

 

(for old players, this can be an additional strength, and will give advantage to stay on top rank)

(for new players, this will be an opportunity to have advantage against high level players)

for hunters, New item = New challenge(need to hunt).

 

 

 

cons for this idea.

 

if RO2 will release rare skill scrolls in Kafra shop.(cash = less fun/less challenge)

additional design of weapons(Since weapons are affected when using weapon skill)(additional cost for designing)

and you need skill points to use it? and u also need skill reset so u can use the skill? AIN'T GOT NO TIME FOR THAT! no thanks.

Just my idea. Not intended to break the game. breaking the game means using cheats/BOT or any third party app.

 

Adding few rare items will not break the game, it will give more challenge to hunt.

If you have extra skill points, then you don't have to use skill reset. 

 

You don't have time to hunt, then you can try to wait,if someone will sell it.

 

You only want PVP games, then.. no Comment haha

 

 

this idea is more like a challenge to hunt, you see. It's boring to kill monster/mobs when you're not expecting a real rare item.

Make them time limited skill....that should spice things up without too much imbalance in the game. On my personal note, a buyable 1min Conceal scroll would be selling like a hot cake in raids...

Its a nice idea, but the truth is that we have scroll union skill system, buff item union system, unfair greenseed system, and dont forget the pet system, if all of that will be deleted, or reworked, we will can have scroll items of only buff scrolls :c
