Give a boost of some kind to all Soldiers on this day.

 

Perhaps 2x EXP or 2x Drop or automatic buffs that are only good for that day....

 

My 1st idea was to let them do 2x AP or 2x DEF but this would mess up PVP

In the US, Veteran's Day honors the soldiers that served their country as a member of the military.

Since Rose has the Soldier class, I thought it would be a fun event or whatever.

I was translating honoring a country's soldiers to Rose honoring the soldiers.

 

To make it clear, Veteran's Day is NOT a holiday to celebrate WAR!

 

I did not intend, nor state that we should honor war.

I will also not discuss my political views in a game forum.

 

This suggestion was meant to be fun, not controversial.

I think they normally do an overall bonus of exp/drops for it.

Before shooting off so quickly why don't you learn about what Veterans Day is about first?

i'm well aware of it's origin and of it's scope nowadays.

Keep in mind that it's a federal holliday in the US, while the playerbase of the game is mostly international.

The opinions on the foreign politics are (since about 1962) pretty controversial, hosting a political event like this could easily seem a bit sarcastic to players who suffered from these past actions.

Credit should be given to the ones who served and risked their lives for all countrys over the world, in this case however only one nation gets represented.

 

This is a game and a game shouldn't have to do anything with politics. That's why in my opinion, hosting this event here is just wrong.

I think what the OP meant, was for the staff to make it so any soldier class got an extra boost in the game. Not that all American Vets get something. I do however understand what you mean about leaving stuff like this out of the game. Whether only soldier classes get boosts or not, is not appropriate imo. Technically speaking, all classes in Rose "serve".
