In the aspect of pvm you aim to have a good healing set, a +7 recovery light staff is decent for you so long as your not spamming coluceo heal, the staff eats alot of sp per healing skill you use. Aim from there for the kvm wand, Glorious Cure Wand, it is by far still the most staple staff used for healing, make it +9 or +12 if possible, you will not need any other staff to heal efficiently and effectively.

Someone else can fill you in on gears.

PvM

It's always helpful to have different types of elemental resistance armor.

Fire Resistance - Pasana Card

Water Resistance - Swordfish Card

Wind Resistance - Dokebi Card

Freeze Resistance - Marc Card

So on & so forth.

I like to keep mine in Orlean's gowns 2365.png if possible because I dislike using a phen carded accessory.

However, in instances where I need resistance to more than one type of element freeze as well (thank you kasshin!), I have Marc carded elemental armors.

The elemental armors I'm referring to are,

2345.png Lucius's Fierce Armor of Volcano [1]

2347.png Saphien's Armor of Ocean [1]

2349.png Aebecee's Raging Typhoon Armor [1]

2351.png Claytos Cracking Earth Armor [1]

A +7 Recovery Light 1659.png is decent, but if you find yourself consuming way too much SP than it's worth - an overupgraded healing staff 1625.png could be another option for you.

As far as accessories go, it's entirely up to you.

You could go with Mora accessories such as,

2864.png Light of Cure (Enchanted with Cure Lv.1 to reduce the cooldown of High Heal by 3 seconds)

2866.png Ring of ArchBishop (Enchanted with Archbishop Lv.1 to increase the potency of your Heal)

2865.png Seal of Cathedrial (Enchanted with Catholic Lv.1 to decrease the SP cost of Coluseo Heal - thanks kasshin)

It's always good to have a phen carded accessory handy too, I have mine in a diabolus ring 2729.png, but it's up to you what accessory you want it in.

For garments, the two popular ones seem to be the Fallen Angel Wings 2589.png (Enchanted with Spell) and the Archangel Wings 2573.png (Enchanted with Heal).

These are generally carded with a raydric card for neutral property resistance.

For shoes, an easy option would be Variant Shoes 2423.png.

Wearing the appropriate shields for whatever you're doing is really important too, you can go with race reduction or size reduction shields. Mine are generally in a Valkyrja's Shield 2115.png.

Demi-Human Reduction - Thara Frog Card

Demon Reduction - Khalitzburg Card

Undead Reduction - Teddy Bear Card

Small, Medium & Large Reduction - Hodremlin Card

So on & so forth.

For headgears, you can use an overupgraded Yggdrasil Crown 18580.png or Chibi Pope [1] 18673.png with blush 5040.png. It's better if the blush is slotted so you can card it, but it's not necessary.

WoE

I just recently began WoE'ing, so I won't have as much input here as I do for PvM gear. But this is what I've used.

Headgears

- +12 Red Pom Band [1] 18601.png (Generally carded with Kathryne Keyron, but it's up to you.)

- Black Framed Glasses [1] 5401.png

- Handkerchief in Mouth 18670.png

Armor

- +9 WoE Robe [1] 15048.png

- WoE Muffler [1] 2587.png

- WoE Shoes [1] 2485.png

Up to you what you want to card these with.

Weapon

- Bellum Bible (Must be +6) 1586.png

- Long Mace (Enchanted with MDEF+8) 1525.png

Accessories

- Carefree Black Rosary [1] (Kafra Blossom Card) 2898.png

- Hiding Black Rosary [1] (Smokie Card) 2898.png

Hopefully someone can fill in anything I miss. Hope this helps!

Good list except this part seems misleading?

However, in instances where I need resistance to more than one type of element, I have carded elemental armors as well.
The elemental armors I'm referring to are,

2345.png Lucius's Fierce Armor of Volcano [1]
2347.png Saphien's Armor of Ocean [1]
2349.png Aebecee's Raging Typhoon Armor [1]
2351.png Claytos Cracking Earth Armor [1]

You can only have one armor element and if you put in a card in one of the above armors, it will overwrite the base element. These armors tend to be used if the player also wants freeze immunity with Marc Card.

For Seal of Cathedral, some people like to enchant it with the one where the SP cost of Coluseo Heal will go down.

Oh! You're right, sorry.  :ani_swt3: I guess I worded that a little funky. Thank you for clearing that up for me & for the additional information on the seal of cathedral!

Soll already did a good job explaining things for a PvM AB. Only thing I'd add is that you should go for a Deviling card in your garment if you have the funds, because it's a really helpful card for resistance when paired with the correct elemental armor.

For WoE, focus on resistance. Kathryne Keyron is unnecessary for an AB for example. It's better to get something like Leaf Cat or Giant Hornet which increases your resistance to Water and Wind respectively. The same goes for BFG. You don't need something like Maya Purple, since it's not your job to be spotting cloaked or hidden enemies. The only problem with carding them with these is that it hurts their resale value (if that bothers you at all). And lastly, I rather just go for another KBC Black Rosary than a hiding one, since hiding immobilizes you and there's plenty of skills that easily reveal opponents out of hiding, and you can just Pneuma or Safety Wall yourself. An AB stacked with reductions won't die so easily.
