After seeing people use it in videos, that katar doesn't seem that impressive anymore...

dmg looks on par with IRO DD Critters atm(without dark claw) though he using a shadow gear that bypasses defense(not sure if it also adds atk)

You forget they have access to the better shadow gear and we're not seeing what his is there, unless you can read it.

no i cant but shouldnt be anything too crazy beside defense bypassing

Which is quite a lot already... It's like adding half an ice pick effect to an already good katar. Also, we're unlikely to be getting those MVP-like shadow sets.

Well i do remember that thread about people not wanting those mvp like shadow gear but i guess we see

so, I understand I will need an especific set for leveling, as it is what I want for now and I'm dying pretty fast whenever I goes, what should I buy?
