Getting major lag spikes, rubber-banding all over the place, game is unplayable.  In the middle of the "Lost Spirits" quest and its too "dangerous" to continue.

 

(Not my original post but I made some hot-headed assumptions the first time around)

Sometimes the problem is inbetween mate, its not like your line connects directly to WP servers it has to go thru several other networks and if one is having a problem then it is what it is.  Its like segments in a pipe, if one has a hole then you don't get as much water at the other end due to the leak.  Posting a trace route will help.  The extra sarcasm at the end isn't needed btw.

Doesn't really help when people claim it's not from their end but refuse to post tracerts to prove that it's not really from their end.

tracerts don't take that long to run.  if this was a widespread issue you'd think there'd be more posts on the forums about it as well...

Most people just quit instead and go play another server or at least that's how it goes for most people I know lol

You should do an IPv4 trace (tracert -4) instead; an IPv6 trace doesn't tell you much because it can (and usually does) take a completely different route, and the game itself only uses IPv4.
