The week of Thanksgiving we will be in the office for a limited time during the middle and later part of the week due to the holiday so we must move maintenance to Tuesday. It's very likely that during the last two weeks of December we will also need to set the maintenance to Tuesdays as well. 

 

New Turn in maps: Give suggestions for the three levels of TIs! Please don't  suggest maps that are very small (like orc dungeon) as these tend to have major performance issues. 

 

We have received a new server build of the level 160 level cap increase from the development team and will be testing this on Sakray as early as this week with a goal of implementation on December 10th. We will have NPCs set up for testing, but if you need something we don't have on sakray yet to test please post what you need! We want to have lots of feedback. 

 

For the later part of December and early part of January we are going to have event WoEs. The status of all castles will be saved the week before and during the event woe period the castles will not spawn treasure. After the event woe period is over, the castles will be reverted to the ownership/econ they had at the beginning of the event. 

 

Notes:

 

We are planning limited consumable and/or no god item or mvp card woes if you have other event woes you would like to suggest post it here!

 

Black Friday box will be available through the Fire Sale NPC in the middle of Prontera, who will appear Friday (possibly starting Thursday night!). There will be a Cyber Monday Groove Pack that will be available only on Monday. 

 

Turn Ins: 

Low: Uzhas/Bathory

Mid: Flying Deleter/Wanderer

High: Parus/Luchtern

 

Changed maps to Hugel Field 1, Comodo dungeon, geffen dungeon

 

Fixing Geffen Petit bounty board, the ground and flying petite entries were switched

Checked the Wootan fighter exp reward, the reward is currently correct. 

 

RE: Possible Windows update-Scratch that we investigated the update and were not applying it as it would hurt server performance due to issues with the update.

 

Sakray has been updated with the level 160 update! Monster exp has been boosted 10x for testing.

Since 160 is around the corner, can you guys make it so Gramps doesn't reward base EXP if characters are 150 or higher after we get the 160 update?

Maps I'd like to see: (anything not a dungeon pretty much)

  • Niffleheim Field 1 (nif_fild01)
  • Prontera Field 11 (prt_fild11)
  • Veins Field 4 (ve_fild04)
  • Hugel Field 5 (hu_fild05)  (would have to prevent monster spawns on the island though)

Also, please change the music.

 

If you get rid of most the low level gears and put in more end game gears/cards and kafra items instead I think there would be less of a problem with the item selections.  I know people who go there to test MVP cards and there are a handful not in there.  Same with hats and garments that are exclusive to boxes, like Fallen Angel Wings and Skull Cap.

 

Edit:  I agree with Toxn, please disable turn ins for the new levels or clear the quests with maintenance so people can't instantly 160.

Are the accumulated turn ins enough to instant 160? What about Prize Medals? If my memory doesn't fool me prize medals were disabled at one point when we got a major update. Someone do the math please to double check the instant 160 theory I am curious myself!

To Clarify

Gramps will only give EXP if you are under base level 150

Gramps will only give JobExp if you are under job level 50 (may vary for expanded classes)

btw, when are we going to get other "missing" cards from Bifrost/others monsters (ex: Parus card/Cenere/Petal) ?

I feel like a lot of the classes that are less useful to party play are probably gonna get left behind, that or most people prolly gonna go out and solo leaving a bunch of support classes behind. lol.

Also, Campitor, prize medals gonna be disabled for players above 150, right? If Ti's are then prize medals should be too.

For 160, I have Hugel, Rachel, Veins, and Eclage boards. Which ones do you guys want to see after Lighthalzen? (Guess all the low-level boards will have to be put on the backburner for now.)

If its a new server build I wonder how many of the old updates will pop in unexpectedly.


We'll just have to deal with any bugs that come with it until we get those older updates.
