Lets start off by clearing up some misinformation... Throw builds are NOT dead, Oboro are not supposed to be the magic users, you CAN build melee builds that work just fine (even oboro), Kagerou are not a class that is only useful in PVP and for copying Rapid Throw, you dont need super OP gears to MVP on a Kagerou or Oboro,  you dont need to be 150 to start MVPing, and TI is NOT the only way to level to 150. Swirling Petals does NOT require high Agi. Now lets pick these myths apart one at a time.

Myth: Throw Builds are dead

Myth: Oboro Are the Magic Users.

Myth: Melee builds dont work.

Myth: Kagerou/Oboro are a PVP class. or are only good for copying Rapid Throw on a SC.

Myth: You Need OP gears to be successful on a Kagerou and Oboro.

Spoiler

Spoiler

Myth: TI is the way to level a Kagerou/Oboro.

Spoiler

Myth: Swirling Petals needs High Agi to be effective.

skills i can say really boil down to personal choice... use the skills you like... usefull skills include: Pure Soul 5, 16th night 3, illusion shadow, shadow hiding, cast ninja spell, all the charms, shadowleap and cicada skin shed.... this skills are good for PVM and MVPing.... Illusion Death5 is a PVP only skill that reduces enemy HP by 25%, Illusion Shock ONLY works in WoE and doesnt work in PVM or PVP... also note that Watery Evasion now actually increase damage from Freezing spear as long as both you and the target are in the Water... all the other skills are pretty self explanatory.... Pure soul5 it should be mentions not only heals your HP by 10% and SP by 5% per second it also cures: curse, blind, poison, and freezing/coldslow AND has a 50% chance to negate ALL types of incoming damage (including physical and magical attacks)... and one last trick thats never really been given out: When killing monsters who are aggro on Illusion Shadow Clones you will gain a slight bump in EXP per kill as long as its attacking the clone when it dies!

any other skill questions feel free to ask and ill try to answer them in this thread....

as for stats... you can get 99 in 4 stats easily at 15 and still have a little left over... i wouldnt suggest going over 100 in any one stat as it will weaken you in another area... perfection isnt overpowering one area, perfection is balance...

Magic Builds should got for high int, vit, dex (unless you have really good cast reduction gears) Luck/agi...

Throw builds should get high Str, Vit, Dex and luck/agi

Melee builds need high str, vit, agi, dex/luck

Hybrids  need high int, str, vit and dex....

and that, as they say is that...  if you have any other questions just ask and i will answer as i can... hope this helps!

oh yeah... if you dont know how to become a ninja in the first place heres my video guide... http://forums.warppo...st-run-through/

Chuck Glorious Suit into Armours? The +20% MHP boost is amazing for Killing Strike, even in PvM. It's like an inexpensive mini Tao Gunka without the DEF cut!

Because the set didn't work out well the last time I KvM'd... x.x I don't WoE myself tho. And Shadow Leap is disabled in KvM (not in PvP) so I was wondering what would work with PvM build to KvM.

Kinda figured it out a bit but still unsure about the approach since I don't have the gears.

something i want to clarify. hoping you guys know.

in regards to the 16th Night skill. it reduces fixed cast time by 100% and variable cast time by 50%. This 50% VCT reduction is like a final multiplier right? Meaning it doesn't function like equipment enchants/cards that reduce VCT as a set number?

for example:

if i have a cast time of 2 secs FCT and 2 secs VCT,

have a +9FAW with 3 spell enchants (-30% VCT),

+0 CoD (-10% VCT)

weapon with 1 spell enchant (-10% VCT),

and i use 16th Night (not taking stats into consideration)

i will have a 0 sec FCT (0%) and a 0.5 sec VCT (25%)

not a 0 sec FCT (0%) and a 0 sec VCT (0%)

is this right?

also. would EA enchants be better than FS if you go a throw build?

no you can not get 100% cast reduc from combo of gear/stats and 16th night you must have 100% cast reduc from gears or stats to get it

what YangeWenli said about 16th night is correct.... as for enchants EA is better than FS for throw builds... however race/size cards are better than archer skeleton cards for all throwing skills EXCEPT killing stroke...

For Kunai Splash Build: FS enchanted Grimtooth + 2x race/2x ele MG

For people who uses quad race or quad elemental. If you can make your own specialty MG putting 2x Race and 2x Elemental card, They gives you better damage output. Not going to put down equations and formula, but in short, They applies separately.

as far as i know, its fixed MATK increase each level. i think around 50~100 matk at maxed level. I did test once and thats what i got. with 1 all stat and 125 oboro, i was doing around 300 on thiefbug, at maxed i was doing around 1k. Something to add on your quick guide.
