Just my shower thought, what will happen if one day the bots leave us ? I mean I'm pretty sure there's no way we can get rid of them completely, only when they decided this game is not "worthy" for them to bot anymore.
Do you want to see that happen ? Since, there are both pros and cons for this as well, for example : everything will goes up 10x in price, our economy will go wild again, supply cannot meet demand ( aloe, straw,...)
What will happen if...

Prices will go up, encouraging people to hunt items that bots used to only hunt. Everything will balance out again and it will be easier for new players to get zeny if they can hunt stems and poison spores for profit.

Would be a nightmare for iRO lol. I'm personally glad they don't crack down on them very often. I also think the drastic drop in #s on the server select screen might be too much for people and cause some people to jump ship to another game or pserver.

I see no downsides to this.

We'll just end up like kRO, except with higher rates.
I see no downsides to this.
Can you tell me how is it like overthere ? They sell everything in store or what ?

I think we will know the answer pretty soon once that certain tree grows.

ffs stop bringing that damn thing up EVERY WEEK.
I just can't wait till the publisher screws it over, the devs lose interest and it falls on its ass. I will laugh so hard.

They have a very good publisher in korea I heard its Nexon? Nexon korea is A++++++ compared to the one in america qqqqqqq. Imc is also pretty good themselves so the game will shine. People will probably just play both games at the same time so the hit to the population likely wont be very hard.

it will be.
But setting a example rom the gm team should be a start.
Like the bot buffers...
I see another one comes to join them now.
I kno that person from valk, reported their guild too for usage during woe, but yet some exists...

they could and have stopped mass bot farming in the past such as on ymir it was free to play only after you viped once now that wont stop all botting but if you have to pay $7 ea bot and they get banned every week suddenly bot farming is not so appealing

Hmm as much as I am against bots... Not sure it would be good. Well if they'll add any SP item to the vendors. Because, many of us need to say thanks to bots for all aloe and straw. Someone may say, that's how this game supposed to be - spending half of our lives farming items. But well, that's why I abandoned RO 1st time I played it. I refuse to spend time on farming straw and aloe. I don't have time and I don't find it fun.
So, no bots? Great! Just make NPCs sell items they farm.

If they banned all bots, WoE certainly would dry up.

But for some people maybe it's will be fun if they really do plan to kill real new players in spore maps.
LOL....

if no bots. It's probably not fun using DB outside the field and it is not appropriate.
But for some people maybe it's will be fun if they really do plan to kill real new players in spore maps.
LOL....
there are plenty of people who spawn DBs to kill for fun... not everybody is retarded and uses them to try and control bots.... people like to kill random monsters... why are people using them to kill your bots?

Server back to bots...
Guild Supply Boxes were implemented on Classic, by "Oda" (fyi Oda is a CM and has nothing to do with the game's backend and development) to support the dwindling population and kill WoE mat farm bots.
It was an amazing success. Bot numbers dropped, the farm bots ended up being repurposed by their owners and then killed in airstrikes, and you can probably attribute the server's continued existence up to now to those GSBs. They're farmable while leveling and are now even available from MVPs and high-level non-GD areas.
Even if it's not the main server, it's a testament to the fact that they do actually care about the state of the game.
