hi there,i was leveling my vanil in anthell in IRO. i configured my ai to attack ants..it did attacked the ants but it did not use any skills so i tried to configure it again using hom tactics, then i tried it again and now it did used an skills but it did not attacked any ants..what did i done wrong.. help pls...newbie here..

make sure your tactics are set to attack ants, uses attack skills, and skill class is either "any skill" or "Non-Homun S skills".  Remember to set it for each of the ants too, "andre", "pierre", and "deniro".

 

Then vaporize and recall your homunculus.

 

If it still doesn't work after confirming that your per monster tactics are correct post the contents of your H_Tactics.lua file in CODE tags, and we can start to troubleshoot from there. 

 

EDIT: 

Also make sure that your vani has enough levels / SP to use the skill level selected. Young vani doesn't have enough SP to cast level 5 caprice sometimes, if so either wait a few levels or set the AI to use a lower level skill on the monster.

thanks man..btw i was thinking if i still continue my hom(vani) or should i choose other hom? im planning on becoming a gene that solo an mvp..and if i would choose another, is amistr a good choice? for what i've read it's a good base hom...

I personally like vani just for ease of leveling and pretty much guaranteed max stat growth. Leveling is just so much faster with caprice than having no ranged damage skill at all.  I don't know if the sheep is pretty much a 100% max stat homun, but usually by 105 at the latest a vani will be all max stats.
