Can't start Client (Classic or renewal)

Hi,

 

I am new. I registered on the site and downloaded the client in hopes of playing RO Classic. I was able to download the client and execute the .exe file without any issues. The patch client successfully installed patches. When I click start I get the following error: 

 

 "clragexe.exe has stopped working"

 

when I click "close program", I also get:

 

clragexe.exe - Application error

The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005). Click OK to close the application.

 

 

I get the same error when trying to run Ragexe...

 

I am on Windows 7, laptop has AMD dual core, 2.1 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon 1250 HD integrated card. Here is the dxdiag info:

Add the IRO client installation folder to the scanning whitelist (also known as an "exclusion list") of your anti-malware software.
