Hi, I just installed the game and have been trying to play it but I keep getting the error "Failed to connect to file server" on both renewal and classic, but I'm able to log in to renewal though i'm not able to see any other player, npc or even monsters. Where on classic I'm not able to click the "play" button on the patch client at all. I have tried restarting my pc, complete re-installation, flushing my dns, but non seems to work. I'm running the game on windows 7 and i'm pretty sure i have met all the requirement needed to run the game. Also I'm not running my pc on any proxy.

Can you access the update server using Internet Explorer? (You must use Internet Explorer because the updater uses it to download updates.) If not, then can you access it using a different web browser, such as Firefox?

Nope, non of my browser work, including IE. I have tried all the steps listed at http://forums.warppo...h-server-error/
nothing seems to work. I have tried re-installing the game a couple of time too, that didn't work. Both hard and remote reboot of my router too.

The problem is quite weird because it says that "Failed to connect to filer server", but I'm able to log in to my account and even create a character. All the map loads except for the NPC,Players and monsters, I can walk and chat but I cannot see anyone.

In that case, something on your computer or network is probably blocking FTP connections.

Are you using a college or university network? Such networks are infamous for blocking access to all but the most commonly used ports.

What should I do if it really is blocked? I'm using my home network, is it possible that it is blocked by my internet provider as I am from Malaysia. Or is it something that can be change on router setting?

On home connections, the blame for blocking FTP connections usually lies with poorly-programmed routers. It's rare for ISPs to block FTP connections.

Do you have another computer or a device that runs Android or iOS? If so, then test whether you can access the server using it. If you can't, then the problem lies with your router or ISP. If you can, then the problem lies with your computer.
