Does this mean the Costume Devoted Eyes received for playing RO2 are enchantable as well?
It would be really nice to get an official input about this.

I will say It was nice to have them be exclusive, as mentioned by someone else in this thread...
These items are separate equipments as part of the Kitcoin system. It won't change the existing item.

then will there be a way to tell which is which? otherwise people will claim they are selling the kitcoin version and sell the old version instead... since once can be enchanted and one cannot it seems like a very scammable item...

Pretty sure the old devoted eyes will keep their original description and the new one will say Bring this to [Aver De Dosh] in Malangdo at the building location 115 150 to add enchantments to it.

Thank you Oda for the clarification.
Although I failed to see how the lower costumes got converted to enchantable while the devoted eyes couldn't.
It's pretty typical pay2win game tactics. They offer an exclusive item and then later on change a tiny little detail so they can offer it again. Sometimes it's the color of the item, sometimes it's the stats, but every time, the customers who thought they were buying something exclusive are the ones who lose.
It's scummy, unethical behavior for any company, but that's the nature of these kinds of games.

Except you didn't even need to pay a penny for the original Devoted Eyes. They were free just for registering for RO2.

pretty sure you needed to also get to a certain level too.

That may be true (I was on break back then), but it was still an exclusive item. Time was invested to get them.
And it's not the first time this has happened, for example the Note headphones that came with the OST. You had to buy the OST to get them, yet they were offered in a box later on.
And slotted sunnies were supposed to never ever be available again because they were OP and unbalanced. Now they are dirt cheap and there are middle slotted gears even more OP.
Anything to make a buck I guess.
I'm not mad though. IRO would probably be shut down if not for the cash shop.

I actually never stepped into the RO2 world and got them.

One question: after tomorrow, will these items be obtainable by exchanging kitcoins in Malangdo?

Here's an idea. Maybe you didn't buy the note headphones on an exclusivity contract and coincidentally got a free OST with it. I submit, that instead, you bought the OST. And the note headphones were a little something extra -- a early receipt-- and free-- of something others wouldn't be able to buy until later.

Except that they didn't say it was "A little something extra," they said it was exclusive.
It's also worth noting that because there were very limited items in the kafra shop at that time, lots of people bought multiples of the OST just to get the headgear.

Boxes usually aren't tradable but the items inside are i believe.
Would exchanging kitcoins with the npc also give a chance to obtain the new costumes, or are the new costumes strictly only from the boxes?

Took me a while to find it but yeah, you just had to register for RO2 on the same warpportal account that you had RO registered on to get the Eyes of the Devoted: http://www.playragna...news/article/33pretty sure you needed to also get to a certain level too.
