Hi,

 

what's the best way to proc the runaway boots?  what's te proc rate?

 

And does it proc when it goes "YOOOO", seriously, that's kind of lame? At least with the speed of light one you get this light around you...........

about 5% i guess, it procs a lot using magical autocast when i was using CD in mouth at 188-189 aspd.
using physic wave in a large mob also guarantee it. good it lasts for 10 but the SP usage will run your mind dry.

is it determined by the number of hits?

 

Cause I was walking around with my WL and 10 mins using normal magic (non-comet) on decent mob it never procs. But it procs maybe 50% of the time if I use comet on a large mob.............

 

Seems so useless if i have to use comet everytime to proc it! Comet already drains sp, but the the sp drain from activation...........

physic wave is 7 separate hits aoe
comet is 1 bundle hit aoe
waterball is 25 seperate hits single target
cloud kill is 48 separate hits aoe
the more mob hit by a single bundle of hits will increase the proc chance

it needs quite a planning to use

comet is 1 bundle hit aoe
waterball is 25 seperate hits single target

the more mob hit by a single bundle of hits will increase the proc chance

So......comet is the best way to trigger than given it does 1 bundle x 20 hits on a large AOE..............

 

In fact............Even crimson work has 1 bundled x 6 hit (close to pyshic wave's 7 separate) . Shouldn't  that trigger it nicely as well? But........it's never triggered it when I as testing...........

 

And I still think  "YOOOO" is lame..........can't it say something more interesting....................... (-_-"), or have some effects.....

Comet is just 1 chance to proc so its really bad to proc...

AFAIK one bundle counts as one hit. that 20x hits resulting a single total damage. that single damage counts as 1 hit. just like level 1 firebolt is 1 hit, and so does level 10 firebolt, even tho it hits 10 times but since it is bundled up to a total damage, it counts as 1 hit.

other example:
Storm Gust: separate hit, aoe
Thunderstorm: single hit, aoe
crimson rock: single hit, aoe
chain lightning: single hit, single target
blaze shield: separate hits, aoe

Auto Cast Suras can keep it on permanently (of course that means having 0 sp)

Procs quite often I found - I ended up with 0 sp all of the time however... so I had to get something else

 

because keeping Preserve and Shadowspell up was impossible, much less using copied skills like Duple Light and such.

 

At ~190 aspd with reflect damage from Bison Horn and Thorny Buckler [1] the bolts and auto-spells made it proc

 

super often. Might be good in certain situations, like for bosses when you buff up first and then have at it.
