I've come across conflicting descriptions of how the Archbishop skill Clearance works, so I figured I'd ask about the exact function of it here.
The Skill Simulator describes it so:
Note:
- Affects all party members and enemies on screen
- removes buffs
iROWiki describes it as follows:
"Clears many buffs and effects from a single target by chance. Effects removed: Blind, Frozen, Stone, Bleeding, Stun, Chaos, Poison, Curse, Sleep, Silence, Hallucination, Guillotine Cross' Poisons, Venom, Impression, Fear, Rune buffs, Burning, Freezing, Crystallization, White Imprison, Vanguard Force, Blood Sucker, Howling, Shadow Formation, Body Painting, Deep Sleep, Harmonize, Despair Song, Siren's Voice, Gloomy Shyness, Saturday Night Fever, Critical Wounds. Anything that's not mentioned is not removed by this skill."
Note:
- Single target
- Does not remove such buffs as Blessing or Increase AGI
My main questions now are:
- Who, and how many, are targeted when you cast this skill?
- Are the buffs that the Archbishop him/herself cast, such as Cantocandidus or Clementia removed?
