Does anyone else's homunculus s freeze when attacked? Freeze as in for about 3 second, the homunculus is stagnated and can take 2-4 attacks without acting. Is there some way of scripting the AI so that this doesn't happen?

Yes, old, long standing bug. It is a game bug and cannot be fixed in the AI - the client does not run the AI during these "freezes".
It gets better as homun levels and gets higher aspd and flee (the length of the freeze seems to be a function of aspd, and it seems to be caused by homun being hit at exactly the wrong moment)
