Anyone else has this problem? The big Kentar boss at God's Sanctuary is completely glitched. The stages before his room have no problem at all, but when I get to him, it starts to lag. Namely, one of his attacks, the one when he thrusts his sword into the ground to summon stone spikes, nearly ALWAYS hits, no matter where you are: on the ground, far away from him, or in mid-air. It deals ridiculous damage (or maybe it looks like it because I have a Monk) and I get quickly KOd, even though I'm evading him. Another attack of his that hits no matter where you stand is the simple slash with the sword. These are the only moves that do it, or so I have noticed.

Anyone else has this problem with that guy? What can be done about it?

Well, I have no lagging issues whatsoever at his boss room.  :p_smile:

But yes his "stone spikes" do a lot of damage. And yes, they seem to hit you at places they shouldn't (or simply any rational thought tell you they don't - but still do). I have the same "issue" with that one. I think about anyone playing has this exact same "problem". That particular attack is behaving strangely and has already caused many deaths.

However I do play a jester and I do solo him. But I have to be honest, it took me some time to learn. :p_smile:

Yes sometimes it was close, but he never killed me. Somehow I managed it to stay alive and to kill him.

I don't know if this is based on pure luck but it for sure does help me. So, I will just tell you what I do.

The moment he hits the ground with his sword and the first spike shows up I jump - no matter what I did before. I just jump into the air and make a dash to whatever side while still being in mid air. I get the damage of the first spike, but all the other ones don't hit me anymore by doing this. In easy words, yes it still does damage, but not as much damage as getting hit by the whole attack. That somehow ( like I said maybe I'm just lucky) saved my life many times.

I know this is no solution, no real one. But at the moment it does help.  :p_smile:

The sword attack does work for me, I can get out of it's range. So I personally got no serious problem with that one.  :p_smile:

If I'm not mistaken this "bug" is already known by the staff on here, right?

In the case if not, this is one of the things that need to be forwarded to be fixed by the dev team.

I believe the dev team is the only one that is able to fix it and sadly they are still.......hmm.........way behind on their work list.

They are like very very slow, but still there.  :p_smile:

Edit:

I would suggest you to get yourself some gear with health on it. The more the better. This can be helpful to your class . A friend of mine plays a monk and I know your class got heal skills, but still you need some more health. You could try to farm the "new origin set", that does great. Or try to get some jewelery with heals on it.

Thanks so much for the tip! I'll try what you suggested. :)

Unfortunately I'm incredibly noob at these MMORPGs, and I have yet to learn how to "farm" for things. I don't really want to spend real money on a mere game. Also, exactly how can you get "the new origin" set? I've heard it many times, but for the life of me, I can't find any traces of it!

Oh that is an easy one.  :p_smile:

While killing monsters, you get those "silver coins". They simply drop from killed monsters and when you pick them up (run over them), they get put into your IM inventory.

You need 10 silver coins to be able to buy one! New Origin Gacha Box.

You can exchange your silver coins for the gacha box in Port of the Winds, on the floating Island directly at Gato's vending machine (Gato is the big fat cute cat NPC). Just go to his machine and choose exchange in the menu. You will find a listing of some items that you can exchange your silver coins for. There is not only the New Origin Gacha box in there, maybe you find some more interesting stuff.

Back on topic:

In the New Origin Gacha box can be a set part of the New Origin Set, but it is a luck game. You can get other things out of them too, like weapon dust, armor dust, exp potions etc. And with luck you get one piece of the New Origin Set.

You will need to open some boxes (and because of this "farm" some silver coins) to get the full set, but believe me, it is totally worth it.  :p_smile:

and it's okay to be "new".........everyone on here has started at some point.

Have fun on here!

:p_smile:
