I have good-ish gears on renewal (except my monk's stuff is all worthless now grumble grumble) but the mechanics feel so much less rewarding than Classic /sob

 

I'm working on commissions, I had some not-so-good IRL stuff happen recently plus a few Christmas parties. I actually dug up a comic I wrote for Arashi way back at the end of 2007 featuring Xyra, Jatzu, and some sketch of Sean on the side.

 

Trust me, I felt the same way when I started Renewal.

But when I stopped comparing Renewal to Classic, I started to enjoy the game a lot more.

Let me know if you want to pick up on Renewal, I can help out and definitely know people who are interested in commissioning you

Wahhh I will get back to commissions as soon as possible but my PC just died a horrible death ;_; I had the recent commissions backed up at least on an external hard drive while I diagnose what went wrong with my machine but it'll take me some time to get back up and running.

Yeah apparently ;_; actually my comp was kind of on its deathbed for the past year until it just quietly passed. I ordered a new computer this morning that is magnitudes better than my old machine and my emergency box from my most trusted parts shop and it'll be ready in about two weeks. I'll try to get a bunch done on my other machine but it'll be after New Year's before anything really gets done.

 

I started at my new job a few days ago too! In a year it'll be on TV and then I can brag that I worked on a mass market product

Oh gotta beware. New computers and specifically the newer graphics cards have tons of problems running RO. Lots of random lag and graphical anomalies. It's all fixable but you gotta spend time diagnosing the exact issue and usually downloading a bit of helper software to fix it and... ugh, should be so much easier than it is!

Aaaaahhhh so at the end of December my old computer decided it was going to have power issues and just not work, as well as being old and generally not amazing. So I went out and bought myself a brand new computer and it was going to be awesome... well, I had an issue with my RAM and constant crashing and lots of my programs outright not working. Finally I went and got my replacement parts in now that I'm less busy with my day job and travel. So anyway I'm gonna get back to anyone who still is interested in commissions now that everything is in working order.

 

This one is for Ancalime! Less chibi, more fire. I might have to come back to this one for some touchups... I haven't actually coloured anything complete in a long time now

The fireballs were a special request by Ancalime   I'm gonna update my DA today now that I'm feeling more alive XD I stayed up too late last night.
