I was doing a little math on what would put out more damage with a build of

120 STR

60 AGI

25 INT

95 DEX

13 LUK

@ 150/50.  All the while using a +9 Black Ribbon [1].

The Temporal Str boots FS7 look tempting when paired with a FS19 FAW.  That's an insane amount of attack.  You could also change elemental armor as needed if MVPing.

But Peuz set does more DPS still when used in conjunction of:

Sonic Wave 5 ---> Ignition Break 5. Rinse and repeat.

For example, on Turtle General I theorized the following with a +7 Ice Pick Fire endow with FCP slave.

Sonic Wave 5: 35,000 Damage

Ignition Break 5:  40,000 Damage

Is this even accurate?

However, remember each MVP has a certain skill that hurts if not properly prepared.

Peuz set is pretty bad in general since you have almost no reductions available to you. You might be able to get away with no reductions on the really easy MVPs but most of those aren't worth hunting. Temporal Boots can also get you Bear's Power proc with +200 STR.

Ice Pick is a dagger and only does 50% to large, and most MVPs are large, so I can't see how this can be leveraged at all unless you are planning to put a Drake Card into it. Also for TG in particular, I think TG uses AGI up, and IB and Sonic Wave both rely on HIT. Really there is no reason not to use DB on TG; it's very easy to switch from IB / physical gears over to DB gears and you only need 90 VIT (which any build will have already) and a small / medium amount of INT (which doesn't cost much) to do decent DB damage.

Ok...I just didn't want to feel like a mage and get alot of INT to be competitive......

I like farming with IB/SW/wind cutter, but Peuz set is so easy to obtain so i think its best to get both. Peuz for farming/pvm.  FAW+TempDex I think that is what you were implying.

You don't need a lot of INT. Even just 40-60 is fine for DB. Getting 40-60 INT is insignificant compared to getting stats over 100, and the INT also helps with your SP pool / regen / skill spamming anyway too. Maybe even 1 INT is fine for DB damage provided you have the right gears. For PVM at the right level range, you can't afford to use Peuz either because you also need reductions to kill monsters in your level range. For farming, if you are killing monsters way below your level range (not necessarily porings, maybe some monster that's level ~50) then sure you can use Peuz. There really are limited situations you can afford to use "glass cannon" gears.
