Hi

 

I tried to install Ro Classic and it says it can't write the

cps.dll file - what can I do here?

And of course - I tried to install it a looooong time ago

and have already an account but don't remember my

login information - how to I find out my old name &

password?

if you want to try to retreive an old account, create a support account at support.warpportal.com, and then raise a support ticket. provide as many details as possible in the ticket and the GMs may be able to assist in getting your old account back.

keep in mind that your old account will have been moved to the renewal server. if you elect to play classic, you will start anew.

Is there a way to start a whole new account without creating a new WP account?

OK I figured out how to start a new char without losing my old WP acc and not knowing my old login data but what about the cps.dll file? I can't see any other users, portals or so - please help!

Which server are you trying to play, classic or renewal?

Renamed thread in the hopes that the people who know how to fix that will see this. I forget the fix and don't have time to check.

Have you tried to patch renewal yet?  Even if you play one you should try patching both to prevent any errors.

Ok - I logged in with the admin account and suddenly it worked - the error messages were gone. 

 

Next issue - I have tried to google a solution but nothing helped either - I can't use the F shortcuts

Whenever I try to use them it opens the media player or it trys to adjust sound or light of the computer 

Does anybody know how to fix this? I have a Toshiba wireless keyboard if this helps....

you need  to swap the secondary functions for the F keys , i think this is done in the control panel in the keyboard configuration. right now you have it as

hold FN key -> normal Fkey usage.

 

it should be

 

hold FN key -> secondary function.

 

(you can test this because you should be able to use skills if you hold down the FN key  in your current state.)
